For the most effective and consistent treatment, use your Infraredi device directly on clean, bare skin.
Clothing can block or reduce the amount of red and near-infrared light reaching the treatment area. Near-infrared light may pass through some thin materials more effectively than visible red light, but the amount reaching the body will vary depending on the fabric.
For this reason, do not rely on treatment through clothing.
Opaque bandages and dressings may also block the light. Do not remove a medical dressing solely to use red light therapy unless advised to do so by an appropriate healthcare professional.
