Cancellations, Problems, and Disputes

What businesses should do when campaign plans change, work cannot continue, or a creator issue needs support.

Written by Purple Cow Support

If a campaign cannot continue as planned, keep the brief, messages, files, and status inside Purple Cow. Explain the problem early and use the action available for the specific campaign or hire.

Before a creator is hired

Review the campaign’s available editing and application controls. Correct outdated instructions before confirming a hire. Closing applications changes who can apply; it does not cancel any existing hired work.

After a creator is hired

Message the other party through the campaign workspace and explain what changed. Use the available cancellation, extension, or support process rather than assuming that a chat message changes the campaign status. Read any confirmation carefully before submitting an action.

A support request does not automatically pause a deadline, cancel a hire, or guarantee a particular outcome. Follow the current platform status and instructions from support.

When to involve support

  • A campaign or hire status is wrong, or a required action is unavailable.

  • Product delivery, digital access, or a visit makes the work impossible.

  • A revision request appears outside the agreed brief.

  • The parties cannot resolve a brief-based disagreement.

  • You encounter abusive, deceptive, unsafe, or suspicious behavior.

What to include

Send the campaign reference, the affected hire or deliverable, a short timeline, the relevant brief requirement, and the outcome you are requesting. Include the exact error if this is a technical problem. Keep screenshots focused and hide unrelated personal information.

While the issue is reviewed

  • Keep the original files and the conversation history.

  • Do not delete evidence or repeatedly submit the same action.

  • Do not arrange private settlements or payments outside Purple Cow.

  • Never share passwords, verification codes, identity documents, or banking credentials.

  • Do not threaten, harass, or publish another person’s private details.

For account-specific terms and any financial outcome, use the information in your signed-in account and contact support. This guide does not quote costs, payouts, or promise a refund.
