Find, Invite, Review, and Select Creators

How businesses can find suitable creators and understand the difference between applications, invitations, and confirmed hires.

Written by Purple Cow Support

Find creators who fit your brief, review their work, and confirm each hire through Purple Cow. An application or accepted invitation is not a confirmed hire.

Open the campaign roster

Sign in to your Business account at app.pcow.io, open Campaigns, then select the campaign. The roster separates applicants, invitations, hired creators, and completed work.

Use the campaign tabs and filters to review creators without mixing application and hiring stages.

Review applications

  1. Open Applicants.

  2. Search or narrow the list using the available filters, such as category, language, country, badges, level, or followers.

  3. Open the creator’s profile and check relevant portfolio examples. Compare their style and capabilities with the brief.

  4. Read any application details and clarify practical questions through the platform.

  5. Use the action shown for that applicant to proceed, message them, or decline the application.

Filters help you find a fit; they are not a replacement for reviewing the creator’s work. Do not ask for passwords, verification codes, identity documents, or private payment information during selection.

Invite creators

Open Invite creators to find people for this campaign. Check the brief, content requirements, and logistics before sending an invitation. Track responses under Invited.

An accepted invitation still needs the business to complete the hire. Do not ask the creator to start based only on an invitation.

Confirm a hire

Use Hire for the selected creator and review the confirmation carefully. Account-specific costs and terms are shown inside your signed-in account. Complete the process only when you are ready to commit.

Check Hired & working afterward. Use the creator’s campaign workspace for instructions, messages, deadlines, and delivery.

Manage applications separately from work

The Open for applications control determines whether the campaign is accepting applications. It is not the same as cancelling an existing hire. Read the campaign’s current status before changing it.

If something looks wrong

If an accepted invitation is missing, a hire cannot be completed, or the wrong creator appears, contact support through the platform. Include the campaign name, the stage you reached, and the exact message shown. Do not repeat a confirmation if you are unsure whether it already succeeded.
