If you're not receiving new mentions, there are several possible reasons.
1. You've reached your monthly mentions quota
A red colored banner will appear in the dashboard if you have exceeded your quota.
Once your monthly quota has been exhausted, Mentionlytics stops collecting new mentions until your next billing cycle begins.
If you want to check your mentions limit, go to Settings → Account Configuration or Settings → Plan & Billing.
Please note that mentions published while your quota was exhausted cannot be retrieved automatically after your quota resets.
If you're on an Advanced or higher-tier plan, you can request the Historical Data add-on to retrieve mentions from that missing period.

2. Your tracker or keyword is paused
If a tracker or keyword is paused, Mentionlytics will stop collecting new mentions for it.
To resume monitoring:
Open your tracker.
Locate the paused keyword or tracker.
Click the Pause button again to reactivate it.
Once reactivated, Mentionlytics will begin collecting new mentions from that point forward.
3. Your keyword setup is too restrictive
Your keyword configuration has a significant impact on the mentions you collect.
Some common reasons include:
The keyword contains spelling mistakes.
Too many Additional Required Keywords have been added.
Your Boolean query is overly restrictive.
Filters such as language or country are limiting the available results.
Try simplifying your search and avoid adding unnecessary restrictions unless they're required.

4. You're not receiving Instagram mentions
Some sources are not enabled by default during the keyword setup process or require authorization (such as Instagram and Threads) before they can be enabled.
If you're not seeing mentions from a specific source, please check that the source is enabled in your tracker settings.
