How to Add Inventory

A guide to manually adding inventory to Logiwa.

Logiwa manages your inventory automatically, taking into account your purchase orders and shipment orders. However, there are also multiple ways to add inventory manually. There are two ways you can add inventory, from the Total Inventory page or the Inventory by Location page. This article covers both methods. Click the links below to choose your preferred one:

Add Inventory from Total Inventory

  • To use this method, select the Add Inventory button from the upper right-hand corner of the Total Inventory screen.

  • The Add Inventory sidebar will open. You can now select or search the following fields, defined below, to find your product:

Field

Description

Warehouse*

Select the warehouse to be searched from the dropdown menu.

Location*

Type the location to be searched and select it when it appears.

Add LP Number (+)

If you need to add an LP number, select the + button to access this field. Type to search for and select your LP number.

Client

Select the client to search by.

Product

Type to search for and select your product.

Please note that products with serial number tracking enabled for both receiving and packing operations must be added through the mobile app.

Pack Type*

Once you find your product, the pack type will be automatically selected. It cannot be modified here.

  • Once you've found your product, you can add inventory by filling the Free Quantity field.

  • Any quantity added will be added to the existing total inventory.

    • For example, a product with 20 inventory with 5 quantity added will have a total of 25.

  • You can also expand the Add Damage Reason and Add a Note sections to add more information for your records.

  • Click Save to save your changes. You will receive a confirmation message if the inventory was added successfully.


Add from Inventory by Location Screen

Please note that this method only works with products that currently have inventory, as those without will not appear on this list.

  • To use this method, navigate to the Inventory by Location screen.

  • Find your product from the list of items with inventory. Select the 3 Dots menu from the same line and click Add.

  • The Add Inventory sidebar will open. The Warehouse, Client, Product, and Pack Type will be shown for reference. Your current free quantity for this item will also be displayed.

  • Add inventory by filling the Free Quantity field. Any quantity added here will be added to the existing total inventory.

    • For example, a product with 20 inventory with 1 quantity added will have a total of 21.

  • You can also expand the Add Damage Reason and Add a Note sections to add more information for your records.

  • Once you've entered the necessary information, click Save.

  • You will receive a confirmation message if the inventory was added successfully.
