Getting started:

  • Make sure you’re all set up with a Trev account:

    • You have an active Trev login and can access go.mytrev.com

    • You have Full Access or Authorised access to any farms you wish to connect to Figured. You can check your farm access levels here.

    • The farm you want to connect with Figured has a Trev Pro subscription.

  • Make sure you’re all set up with Xero & Figured:

    • You have an active Figured login

    • Your Figured login is associated with the farm (and, if relevant, any farms within a multi-farm) that you wish to connect with Trev. Click here for information on multi-farm setup in Figured if required.

    • Your Figured Farm(s) are connected to a Xero account. Click here for information to connect Xero and Figured.

    • Your Chart of Accounts is set up in Xero and synchronised with Figured. Click here for information on how to ensure your Xero Chart of Accounts is synchronised with Figured.

Getting connected:

Once you've reviewed the getting started checklist above, you'll want to connect your Trev account with your Figured account. Here's how:

  1. Click on the menu icon (the three lines) in the top left corner of the dashboard

  2. Select Integrations from the menu

  3. Locate the Figured tile on the Integrations landing page and click on “Connect”.

  4. When you click Connect you’ll be prompted with an overview of the integration and will be able to find out more about the details of the integration by clicking on the more information link. If you’re happy with the terms of the integration, click the "Authorise with Figured" button.

  5. This will direct you to a Figured login screen where you can enter the credentials of your Figured account that has access to the farms you wish to connect with Trev.

  6. Once you’ve entered and confirmed your Figured login details an integration will be established between Trev and Figured and you’ll be able to start connecting your Trev farm(s) to specific Figured farm (or multi-farm). Farms that you have sufficient access to create a connection for will appear at the top of the Not Connected list. To connect a Trev farm to a Figured farm Click the Connect button on the right hand side of the relevant farm.

  7. Choose the Figured farm (and multi-farm tracking category if set up in Figured).

  8. Click "Save Changes"

  9. This will bring you to a new page where you can determine the settings for this farm’s connection with Figured. Here you can:

    • Choose how you want your data transmitted from Trev to Figured with either Manual or Auto Sync

    • Select the Sync From Date to choose how far back you wish your Trev data to migrate into Figured

    • Select Account Mappings for Purchases and Sales in Figured/Xero (click here to find out more about Account Mappings)

    • Adjust any Stock class mappings (if any)

    • Adjust any Event type mappings

  10. Click the "Save and return" button

You’ll be taken back to the main Trev + Figured page where you’ll be presented with a status overview where you can manage the flow of data. You can always update your connection settings at a later date.

How to remove the connection:

If you’ve connected your Trev farm with the wrong Figured farm, click the "Manage Connection" button from the main Trev + Figured page. At the top of the page you’ll see a “Change” link. By clicking on this you’ll be prompted to select the new Figured farm you wish to map along with one of two options:

  • Delete the existing tracker in Figured and the data it contains.

  • Retain the existing tracker in Figured and the data it contains. Note that this tracker will be in a read-only state and disconnected from Trev (but you will be able to delete this tracker from within Figured if you choose to).

It is important to note that the action you take here is irreversible and can not be undone.

If you’ve connected your Trev login with the wrong Figured account, or want to remove the integration that you’ve established between Trev and Figured, please reach out to the Trev support team via the chat or email support@mytrev.com and we will assist you with that process.
