There are certain times where your Fundraising Pages will automatically alert your donors via email that their recurring donation is about to end. These reminders not only let them know that the donation's end date is approaching, they also urge your donors to update their details so that their gift will continue.
When are those automatic alerts sent?
The donor's credit card expiration date is approaching
On the first of every month, Fundraising Pages will automatically alert any recurring donor who has a credit card expiring that month (and subsequently urge them to update their payment information).
If you receive BCC alerts through Fundraising Pages, you'll also get a notice in your inbox so that you can follow up with these donors, too.
The donor's recurring donation end date is approaching
Any recurring donor who has an end date on their recurring gift will receive a notification 30 days before that end date, so they feel confident that their recurring donation will end as expected - or, so they will be able to easily login and extend the end date if they so choose.
If you receive BCC alerts through Fundraising Pages, you'll also get these notices in your inbox.
How to view all recurring donors who have an end date on their gift
Fundraising Pages has a built-in report so you can easily see and follow up with those donors!
You'll want to click the "Reports" button in the top navigation bar in your Fundraising Pages account, then. scroll down to the section titled "Recurring Donation Reports."
You should then see all of your donor's current recurring donations - and any end dates associated with those gifts.
What if my donor's recurring gift is associated with a Fundraising Page that's no longer active?
We've got good news - Fundraising Pages with end dates will no longer influence any recurring donation end date. In other words, this means that any recurring donation a donor set up through a Fundraising Page can continue on in perpetuity, even if the Fundraising Page has a designated "end date."
