Local Payouts let you pay people straight in their own currency — no personal-account detour, no extra hops. Send funds that land in the recipient's local currency in a single step.
💸 What are Local Payouts?
Instead of routing money through a personal account or a workaround, you can now send a payout that arrives directly in the recipient's local currency. It's faster, cleaner, and easier to reconcile.
🌍 Supported currencies
You can send Local Payouts in five currencies:
BDT — Bangladeshi Taka
PKR — Pakistani Rupee
INR — Indian Rupee
QAR — Qatari Riyal
SAR — Saudi Riyal
Personal accounts can send in all five currencies. Business-to-business (B2B) payouts are rolling out gradually, starting with SAR, QAR & INR, with more coming soon.
1️⃣ Add your recipient (first time only)
Before your first payout to someone, save them as a contact:
Go to Contacts and select Add External Contact.
Choose the local currency (e.g. PKR) and the recipient's country — this determines which payout details you'll be asked for.
Pick Individual or Business, then enter the recipient's name and address.
Enter the local bank / payout details requested for that country and currency, then save.
Already saved this recipient? Skip straight to sending.
2️⃣ Send a Local Payout
Go to Transfers and select New Transfer.
Choose the account to send from — you'll see the available balance for each.
Enter the amount.
Pick the recipient contact you want to pay.
Add a reference (up to 35 characters) so you and your recipient can identify the payment.
Review the live breakdown — amount, fee, exchange rate, and what the recipient receives in their local currency — then confirm.
👥 Paying many people at once
To pay several recipients in one go, go to Transfers → Bulk Transfer, download the CSV template, and include each recipient's local-currency details, amount, and currency. Review the summary before you confirm. See How do I run bulk payroll? below.

You can still use nsave business-to-personal to send to a wider range of currencies and countries — including AED, BDT, NGN, MAD and more.
