LocalReviews allows you to send out different surveys according to time and situation. This article will show you how to add a new survey.

Creating a New Survey

  1. Open your dashboard 

  2. Click Settings

3. Click LocalReviews

4. Click Surveys

5. Click Create Survey

6. A pop up window will appear. Select from the drop down list whether you would like to create a survey from scratch or use a template. 

7. Fill in an internal name for your survey. 

8. After clicking Confirm, you will be taken to the Build page. If you are creating a survey from scratch, you can add a welcome page, questions, review triage, and an exit page from here. If you are adding a survey from a template, you can edit any of these here. 

How to Preview Your Survey

  1. When you finish your survey you will see a button on the left upper corner

2. In the window that opens up, you'll be given the choice to preview:

  • Sharing Link

  • SMS Request

  • Email Request

  • SMS Reminder

  • Email Reminder

3. Select which one you'd like to preview and click Start Preview. If you select an SMS or Email option, you'll need to enter in your phone or email address, then hit Send Preview.

4. That's it! If you selected Sharing Link, your survey preview will open in a new window. If you selected one of the other options, a survey link will be delivered to the SMS number or email address you entered.

FAQs

Q: Can I edit or create the design of my survey? 

A: Yes, you can customize the design of your survey by clicking on the “Design” tab on the “Build” page. You can learn more about how to do this by viewing our “Customize your survey” article. 

Q: How do I customize the style of question that I add to my survey? 

A: When you click “Add A Question” on the “Build” page, a pop-up window will appear from which you can choose your style of question. 

You can also click on the tab Settings:

And there, you will be able to set up the feedback reminders, and how you would like the resending process to be. You can also delete your Survey, if you want to.
