What is Orphex MCP and How Does It Save Time and Money?

Ask about your ads in plain English inside ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot, and make changes without opening four different platforms.

Written by Furkan Savrun

Orphex MCP puts your ad accounts inside the AI assistant you already use. You ask a question the way you would ask a colleague, and the answer comes from your own accounts. If changes are switched on, you can also make the change right there in the chat.

MCP is just the name of the plumbing. It is the same thing that lets ChatGPT open a file in your Google Drive. Here, instead of a file, it is your ad accounts.

What it actually saves you

What you do today

What you do instead

Open Google Ads, Meta, TikTok and GA4, export from each, then try to line the numbers up

Ask once. One answer covering all of them

Scroll the search terms report looking for the ones wasting money

Ask which searches spent and never sold. They come back sorted

Make the same change in four places

Approve it once. It goes to all four

Try to remember what your team changed last week

Ask. You get the full list and who did it

Why the answers are better than you would expect

If you just plug an ad account into an AI, it gets a pile of raw numbers and has to work out what they mean while you wait. It often guesses.

Orphex does the analysis in advance, overnight. It has already matched up the different ways each platform counts a sale, already spotted the odd numbers, already scored your creative. So when you ask, the assistant is reading a finished piece of work rather than doing maths in front of you.

That is why a question like "how did we do this month" gets one answer instead of four that do not agree.

Getting connected

Setting it up takes a few minutes and you do it once.

Some assistant plans do not support connectors at all, so check yours before you start. Once you are connected, everything to do with the connection lives on one screen in Orphex.

Things people ask on their first day

Nothing changes unless you say so

This is the part everyone asks about first, so here it is plainly.

When you ask for a change, the assistant does not make it. It shows you exactly what would change, with the current value next to the new one, and waits. Nothing has reached Google or Meta at that point.

You say yes, and only then does it happen. It then checks with the platform that it worked and writes down what it did.

You have 15 minutes to agree to what you are shown. If that passes, the preview is still there for 24 hours and your assistant just asks for a fresh confirmation on the same preview. You do not describe the whole thing again.

Changing your mind afterwards

Budgets, on and off switches, bids, schedules and targeting can all be put back. Just ask.

Two things work differently. A new campaign or ad arrives paused, so it never spends by accident, but creating one is not something Orphex can undo. And deleting is permanent: a deleted campaign takes its ad groups, ad sets and ads with it. The preview counts what would go before you agree.

⚠️ If you are unsure, pause it instead. Paused is always reversible. Deleted is not. See pausing and deleting.

What you need

  • An Orphex account with access to the workspace you want to ask about. That is enough to ask questions.

  • ChatGPT, Claude or Microsoft Copilot, on a plan that supports connectors.

  • To make changes as well, three things: your Orphex plan includes changes, the switch is on for that workspace, and you have editing rights rather than view-only.

Asking questions and making changes are covered by your plan. Two of the heavier analyses use credits, and they tell you the cost first.

What it will not do

  • It does not answer about today. Today's numbers are still coming in from the ad platforms, so it stops at yesterday rather than giving you half a figure.

  • It does not change anything you have not seen and approved.

  • It does not undo the creation of a campaign or ad, and it does not undo a delete.

  • It does not enforce naming conventions or write UTM tags.

  • It does not sync CRM data or upload offline conversions.

  • It does not see accounts you are not connected to, and it says so instead of quietly leaving them out.

Common questions

Does ChatGPT or Claude see my Orphex password?
No. You sign in through a normal secure sign-in window, and your password never reaches the assistant.

Can I use it just to ask questions, with no changes at all?
Yes, and that is how it starts. Changes stay off until both your plan and the workspace switch allow them.

Is it reading Google Ads live every time I ask?
No. Usually it reads the data Orphex has already prepared, which is faster. If you want the figure straight from the platform, ask and it goes and gets it.

Can a colleague spend money through this without me knowing?
No, not silently. Only someone with editing rights, in a workspace where changes are on. Everything is written down with their name on it, and your workspace can require a second person to approve.

Something is not working. Where do I start?
See troubleshooting the connection, which covers the handful of things that usually go wrong.
