2.1 Define attributes
You must have defined the data points you want on your products, components and packaging.
We have some general considerations you can use as a guideline.
2.2 Create your own custom data points
There may be data points you want that are not in the system. You can create them on the fly, but we recommend doing this before the next step.

2.3 Create a data model
Based on the defined data attributes, we recommend that you create a data model. A data model is a template for which data points you want to collect.
A correct data model makes it possible to measure the completeness of your data and ensures a better overview.

2.4 Import/create data
Now its time to import/create data.

Considerations when uploading data:
Are you working with components / sub parts?
Are you working with variants of a product?
Are you importing images, PDF's etc.?
2.5 Connect data
To ensure traceability, supplier, part and product data must be linked.
2.6 Enrich data
When all existing data is imported into the platform you have a full overview on what data attributes are missing (see the completness of the data models). When improving the data quality and adding new data we recommend getting your suppliers involved.
