Safety and Financial Concern flags are used in Penelope to capture important information about an Individual (client) in regards to their safety and financial circumstances. The flags are displayed next to the Individual’s name throughout Penelope.
A Safety Concern might be:
The client has an aggressive dog and receives outreach services.
The client cannot have an appointment at the same time as his/her ex-partner.
There are DV concerns.
A Financial Concern might be:
The client has a gambling problem.
The client has outstanding invoices.
The flags ‘follow’ the Individual around in Penelope. If a comment has been added to the concern, this will either appear next to the Safety/Financial Concern flag or by hovering over the flag.
Helpful Tip: If the Safety Concern is confidential and should not be visible to other Workers, you can put ‘See Service File’ in the comments field and then leave a note in the client’s Service File. The details of the Safety Concern will then only be visible to Workers with access to the Service File.
