The Sports Office App

Aimed at both Athlete and Staff users, The Sports Office App can be used to share Schedules, Documents and Videos as well as to allow athlete users to enter data like Wellness Survey answers, Daily Monitoring test scores or RPE's after training sessions and/or games.
The App also has a chat feature (can be disabled in the App settings of the main site) which allows for enhanced communication between staff and athlete users.

To download the App, go to your respective App store and search The Sports Office. There is no charge to download and use this app.

After Installation, when you first use the app you will be asked to choose your System.

It is very important that you choose the correct System/Site or else your log in credentials will not work. If you are in any doubt, please speak to a club official for clarification on this.

Your log in credentials are the same as you would use on the desktop version of the system.
When you first log in, you will be asked to create a PIN – This is a device PIN and is aimed at making it quicker to log in the next time around

If your device is equipped with TouchID or FaceID, you can choose to use that instead of the PIN going forward.

App Settings

Found on the desktop version of the site, in the App Administration section (you must have the correct user roles to see this) you can :

  • Allow Players to create/add their own Sessions and/or Game data (Further configuration is needed before this can be achieved, please refer to the Self reported guide above)

  • Enable or Disable Comms/Chat feature

Troubleshooting

If you are experiencing any issues with the app please try these steps before contacting our support desk:

  • Hard close the app down (making sure it isn’t still running in the background of your device)

  • Logging out and back into the app

  • Check for App updates from your respective app store

Updating the App

  • Like most apps, keeping it up to date ensures you are using the latest version with the latest features and bug fixes

  • We recommend that you ensure your device is set to ‘Automatically update apps’. Failing that, please make sure you regularly update your apps manually

Forgotten Password

  • If you use the forgotten password link, you must provide the EXACT username and email address attached to the user account. Otherwise, you will not receive the resulting email link (Also, please check your junk folder for the email link if you have requested one and not received it)
