Updox IP Addresses for Firewall Allowlisting

The current list of Updox IP addresses to add to your firewall or network allowlist (updated May 1, 2026).

Do I need to update my allowlist?

  • Yes, if your practice adds Updox IP addresses to a firewall or network allowlist. If you don't update it, your Updox service will be disrupted.

  • No, if your practice doesn't allowlist IP addresses. You don't need to do anything.

Note: Your IT team or network administrator usually makes this change.

Which IP addresses should I add?

Add all 21 of these IP addresses (updated May 1, 2026):

3.173.24.25 3.173.25.25 3.173.26.25 3.173.27.25 3.173.28.25 3.173.29.25 3.173.30.25 3.173.31.25 3.173.32.25 3.173.33.25 3.173.34.25 3.173.35.25 3.173.36.25 3.173.37.25 3.173.38.25 3.173.39.25 3.173.40.25 3.173.41.25 3.173.42.25 3.173.43.25 3.173.44.25

Tip: Every address follows the same pattern, 3.173.X.25, where X is any number from 24 to 44.

What is allowlisting?

Allowlisting is a security practice where your network only lets in traffic from approved sources, like trusted IP addresses. Everything else is blocked by default. Adding Updox's IP addresses to your allowlist makes sure Updox can reach your network.

What if Updox isn't working after I update my allowlist?

  1. Confirm all 21 IP addresses were added.

  2. Log out of Updox, then log back in.

  3. If you're still having problems, chat with us.
