Practice E-mail

  • An Updox Admin for your account can set up your practice’s Updox e-mail address under:
    Admin → Practice Information

  • This allows your practice to send and receive e-mails as the practice.

  • If a practice e-mail is not set up:

    • You can still send outbound e-mails

    • You will be unable to receive replies


User E-mail

  • An Updox Admin can set an Updox e-mail address for individual users under: Admin → Users → select the user.

  • Important:

    • E-mails sent between Updox users must contain at least two lines of text to be deliverable.


**Emails to and from an Updox email should not contain PHI as our email system is not HIPAA complaint.
