đ Availability
Custom templates are available on paid plans. The number of templates and some settings inside a template can depend on your plan.
Use custom templates to save repeatable editing settings and apply them to future clips faster.
Templates are useful when you often use the same opening hook style, audio cleanup settings, intro, outro, or editing preset across multiple clips.
What a custom template can include
A custom template stores selected editing settings so you can reuse them later.
Depending on your plan and workspace settings, a template can include:
Setting | What it helps with |
AI Hook | Add a reusable AI Hook or hook text setup for short-form clips |
Clean Audio | Improve speech clarity with Speech Enhancer |
Remove Filler Words | Reduce filler words in spoken sections when available |
Remove Silences | Shorten quiet gaps to make clips feel tighter |
Intro | Add a saved intro setup to clips |
Outro | Add a saved outro setup to clips |
Some template settings may require a paid plan even if you already have access to templates.
Create a custom template from Video Editor
Open a clip in Video Editor.
Click Template in the left toolbar.
Choose to add or edit a template.
Enter a template name.
Select the settings you want the template to apply.
Review the preview on the right.
Click Save to My Template.
After saving, the template will be available for future editing.
Create or edit a template from Bulk Edit
You can also manage templates from Bulk Edit.
Open Bulk Edit.
Choose Presets.
Add or edit a custom template.
Select the settings you want to reuse.
Save the template.
Templates saved from Bulk Edit can also be used later in Video Editor.
Apply a template to one clip
Use this workflow when you are editing a single clip.
Open the clip in Video Editor.
Click Template in the left toolbar.
Choose the custom template you want to use.
Apply the template.
Review the clip before exporting or publishing.
Always preview the result after applying a template. A template can speed up editing, but each clip may still need small adjustments.
Apply a template in Bulk Edit
Use Bulk Edit when you want to apply the same template to multiple clips.
Open Bulk Edit for the clips you want to update.
Open Presets.
Choose the custom template.
Apply it to the selected clips.
Review the clips before exporting or publishing.
This is useful for creators, streamers, ecommerce teams, or social teams that want many clips to follow the same editing style.
When to use custom templates
Custom templates are most helpful when you want consistency across repeated clips.
Use them for:
A creator or brand intro
A standard outro
A repeated AI Hook setup
Speech cleanup settings
Faster batch editing
A consistent clip style across a campaign, channel, or account
If a clip needs a very different structure or tone, start with a template and then adjust the clip manually.
Plan limits
Custom templates are a paid feature.
Keep these limits in mind:
Free users may not be able to create or apply custom templates.
The number of custom templates can vary by paid plan.
Some settings inside a template can also depend on your plan.
If a template includes a setting that is not available on your current plan, you may need to upgrade before using it.
Check your plan details if you cannot create more templates or if a specific template option is locked.
