Classes rostered in Writable that have been imported from HMH Ed, allow teachers to directly assign to individual students or small groups.
1. First, create or copy an assignment. Navigate to 'My Assignments' and click on your assignment. Click 'Assign' to get started.
2. Next select a course rostered from HMH Ed, and choose your assignment options. Finish by clicking 'Assign.'
3. Once you've assigned to your class, click on the class title to access your assignment dashboard.
4. Navigate to your assignment settings. Click to 'Modify Assigned Students.'
5. Next, select which students will receive the assignment. Click 'Done' to save your changes.
❗️Note: Only courses rostered from Ed have the option to 'Modify Assigned Students' for any assignment. If you are using a different source as your class rosters, you can assign to individual students or small groups through differentiated practice recommendations.
