"Unsettled Bet" means your bet has not been settled yet or is in a "Pending" state.
This does not mean you have lost the bet or that there is a problem. It simply means the process of determining the final result of your bet (win or loss) has not been completed yet.
There are a few specific reasons why a bet remains "Unsettled":
1. The Match is Still in Progress
This is the most common reason. If you place a bet on a live match (sometimes called "ball running"), your bet will show as "Unsettled" until that match or event is officially over.
2. The Match is Over, but the Result Isn't Officially Declared
Many users get confused at this stage. It's not always the case that a bet will be settled the instant the match ends (e.g., as soon as the referee blows the final whistle).
Official Confirmation: Betting platforms must wait for the final result from the game's governing body or the official data provider.
Review: In many sports, last-minute reviews (like VAR in football, Third Umpire in cricket, or score reviews in basketball) can delay the settlement of the result.
Settlement Time: Generally, after a match officially ends, it can take anywhere from a few minutes to 30 minutes (or in some cases, an hour) to verify the results and settle the bets.
3. You Placed a Multi Bet or Mix Parlay
This is one of the main reasons for a bet to remain "Unsettled."
Explanation: If you select multiple matches (e.g., 4 different matches) on a Multi Bet or Parlay slip, your entire bet slip will remain "Unsettled" until the last match on that slip has finished and its result is settled.
Example: You have 4 matches on your slip. You have already won the first 3. But if the 4th match is scheduled for two days later, your entire bet slip will show as "Unsettled" for those two days. Only after the last match is settled will your complete slip be settled (as a win or loss).
4. Long-Term / Outright Bets
If you place a bet that depends on the outcome of an entire tournament, it will remain "Unsettled" until the tournament is over.
Example: Bets like "Who will win the World Cup?" or "Who will be the top scorer this season?" will not be settled before the tournament final or the last day of the season.
5. Technical Delays or Investigations (Rare)
In very rare cases, a bet might remain "Unsettled" temporarily if there is a technical delay in the official data feed or if there is an investigation into a match's result (for example, before a match is voided).
What to Do?
Be patient: "Unsettled" is a normal status. In most cases, bets are settled automatically within 30 minutes to an hour after the match officially ends.
Check your Multi Bet: If it is a Multi Bet, make sure that every match on your slip has finished.
Wait: If it is a long-term bet, wait until the tournament is over.
