When adding your regular casual staff to ClassCover—whether you're a new school just getting started or adding new staff for the first time—they’ll receive an automatic email from ClassCover. Existing users will be added to your list and notified, while new users will be invited to set up a profile.

To support a smooth transition, we recommend also sending a direct message from your school. This gives you the chance to set expectations and ensure staff are using the platform in a way that supports your booking process.

We are writing to inform you that our school is now using ClassCover to manage and book all casual staff, including teachers and education support roles.

ClassCover is a widely used platform across Australia, currently supporting over 3,500 schools and more than 150,000 casual staff. It enables schools to efficiently request bookings while giving casual staff greater visibility and control over their availability and work opportunities.

To ensure you are ready to receive bookings from us, please follow the steps below.

1. Set up or update your ClassCover profile
You will shortly receive an email or SMS from ClassCover. If you are new to the platform, follow the instructions to create your account. If you already have a profile, please log in and ensure all your details are up to date, particularly your role type.

2. Download the ClassCover mobile app
The mobile app allows you to quickly manage your bookings, update your availability and receive booking alerts.

3. Enable push notifications
Once the app is installed, enable push notifications via the settings. This ensures you are alerted immediately when a booking request is sent.

4. Keep your availability updated
Your availability calendar is how schools know when you're available for work. It is recommended that you update this regularly, particularly via the mobile app, to ensure you're considered for bookings.

5. Access support if needed
