Build and edit estimates, bids and invoices.

Click on the Main Menu icon. It's a blue icon with three horizontal lines at the top left of the screen.

Then click Edit to see the options on the Edit Menu.

Click any option to select that function. Most options on the Edit Menu have an icon equivalent on the Tool Bar and a Shortcut Key equivalent.

Tips: The table below summarizes options on the Edit Menu and lists shortcuts, icons and links to more information for each option.

Undo . . .

Ctrl + Z

Reverses out the most recent change to an estimate. See Undo.

Redo . . .

Ctrl + Y

Reverses the most recent Undo. See Redo.

Cut . . .

Ctrl + X

Removes from the estimate any text lines or cost lines that are selected. See Cut.

Copy . . .

Ctrl + C

Loads into computer memory (the “clipboard”) a copy of lines selected in the estimate or costbook. See Copy.

Paste After

Ctrl + V

Pastes the content of the clipboard below the line selected in the estimate. See Paste After.

Insert a Text Line

Ctrl + L

Inserts a text line into an estimate. See Insert a Text Line.

Insert a Cost Line

F7

Inserts a cost line into an estimate. See Insert a Cost Line.

Insert a Subtotal Line

F6

Inserts a subtotal line into an estimate. See Insert a Subtotal Line.

Change Line

F3

Modify an existing text line, cost line or subtotal line in an estimate. See Change Line.

Delete Line

Del

Remove an existing text line, cost line or subtotal line from an estimate. See Delete Line.

Set Percent Changes

Ctrl + R

Increases or decreases costs in the current estimate by a percentage. See Set Percent Changes.

Current Markup

Shift + F7

Adds overhead, contingency and profit to the current estimate. See Current Markup.

Current Tax Rates

Adds tax to the current estimate. See Current Tax Rates.
