11. EEVEE CPMS: connect office and home chargers

The Charge Point Management add-on: what it does, how it connects and what it costs.

The EEVEE Charge Point Management System (CPMS) connects charge points at the office and wallboxes at employees' homes directly to EEVEE. It is an extension of your existing plan, not a standalone product.

For whom: customers on EEVEE Handle or EEVEE Reduce who run their home charging reimbursement through EEVEE.

Three functions

  1. Monitor: every connected charge point or wallbox is visible in EEVEE, with status, sessions, consumption and cost. Office and home in one overview.

  2. Alternative data source: the charge point delivers the session data itself. It is an extra source next to vehicle data, or the main source for cars without a manufacturer connection.

  3. Prevent non-employee charging: charging only starts with the employer's badge. No third-party use in the car park or on the wallbox at home.

How the connection works

  1. Charge points: charge points at the office and wallboxes at employees' homes.

  2. Connection: the charge point connects to EEVEE over via an internet connection. A SIM card is possible, but sits outside EEVEE.

  3. EEVEE CPMS: management, monitoring and access control per charge point, linked to the employer's badge.

  4. EEVEE platform: sessions land in Handle or Reduce, next to vehicle data and the home charging reimbursement.

What the employee gets

  • One badge for public, office and home charging.

  • A charge point that is closed to anyone without that badge.

  • Sessions and cost per charge point in the same reporting as the rest of the fleet.

Good to know

  • No roaming: connected charge points only work with the employer's badge, not with third-party cards.

  • Internet connection is the default. If you choose a SIM card, the subscription and its management sit with the employer or the employee.

Pricing

€2 per charge point, per month (excl. VAT), on top of your EEVEE Handle or Reduce plan.

Which chargers can connect

To connect a charge point to EEVEE CPMS, its OCPP websocket URL is changed to point to EEVEE using EEVEE's websocket: wss://eevee-hvpq.powerfill.app/ws/. For some brands this can be done remotely; others need someone at the charger. The non-limitative lists below cover 128 charger brands and models, based on their published installation guides. If your brand is not listed reach out to talk@eeveemobility.com for more info.

Fully remote (28)

Nobody has to visit the charger. The URL is changed in the manufacturer's portal or app, or by the manufacturer's support team. For the latter, provide the OCPP URL, the APN and the serial number.

Remote depending on setup (100)

Whether these chargers can be switched remotely depends on how they are set up today. If the charger is still online with its current CPO, that CPO can often change the URL remotely. If not, someone has to be at the charger: with a laptop on a cable, via the charger's own Wi-Fi hotspot, with a Bluetooth or installer app, or at the unit itself.

Tip: ask your current CPO to change the URL before the connection is cut. Once the charger is disconnected from its current backend, a physical intervention at the charger is needed.
