  • Amplify = Second phase of Notabene Safe Implementation.

  • Below Threshold = Transfers with an amount below the applicable Travel Rule threshold.

  • Blockchain Analytics Tool = Software for analysing blockchain data, aiding compliance, security, and investigations.

  • Blockchain Transaction Authorization = Tool for controlling blockchain transaction processing based on Travel Rule transfer status.

  • Claimed VASP = An employee of the VASP has successfully registered an account.

  • Client ID = Credential required for API access.

  • Client Secret = Credential required for API access.

  • Decimal Point = Separator for fractional and whole values in cryptocurrency assets.

  • DDQ = Structured inquiries assessing compliance and risk.

  • Elevate = Forth phase of Notabene Safe Implementation.

  • Foundation = Third phase of Notabene Safe Implementation.

  • Gateway VASP = "Parent" entity of multiple subsidiary VASPs operating in different jurisdictions.

  • Group Admin = Role with full access rights over a Group VASP.

  • Group VASP = Multiple VASPs operating in different jurisdictions grouped under a gateway VASP.

  • Idempotency = Identifier key preventing duplicate travel rule transfers.

  • Internal Transfer = Intra-VASP transfers, not subject to Travel Rule requirements.

  • Legal Entity Identifier = Alphanumeric code that enables the identification of legal entities engaging in financial transactions worldwide.

  • Missing_Beneficiary_Data = Outgoing travel rule transfer awaiting additional information, accessible in the "Waiting for data" folder.

  • Network Discoverability = Tool enabling in-network VASPs to identify counterparties in real-time.

  • Nested VASP = Subsidiary VASP within a Group VASP.

  • Non-custodial = A virtual asset wallet that enables the end user to retain control of the private keys, also referred to as Self-hosted or Unhosted.

  • Opportunistic Compliance = Travel rule transfer with missing required information.

  • Production Environment = The operational environment for real-world transactions.

  • Rules Engine = Tool facilitating automated approval or rejection of travel rule transfers.

  • SafeConnect Profile = Digital profiles designed for VASPs to enhance transparency and compliance.

  • Safe Implementation Phase = A set of phases aimed at assisting customers roll out the Travel Rule within their business operations.

  • SafePII = Secure feature for managing Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in compliance with privacy regulations and standards.

  • Transaction ID = Unique identifier for travel rule transfers, enabling tracking and verification.

  • Test Environment = A simulated environment used for testing purposes, also known as "Sandbox".

  • Unhosted = A virtual asset wallet that enables the end user to retain control of the private keys, also referred to as Self-hosted or Non-custodial.

  • VASP = Virtual Asset Service Provider, a business entity that offers services involving the exchange, transfer, or custody of virtual assets.

  • VASP DID = Decentralized Identifier (DID) assigned to a VASP, facilitating secure and verifiable identification on different networks.

  • VASP Network = Database of profiles involved in virtual asset exchange, transfer, or custody, fostering interoperability and compliance.

  • Waiting_for_information = Outgoing travel rule transfer to a VASP that is not reachable, accessible in the "Waiting for data" folder.
