For: Owners, Managers (admin dashboard)
When a send says "not enough balance," the company wallet does not hold enough points for that send. Nothing is sent, and no points are taken.
What will I see?
Before you send: if the amount is more than the wallet balance, a red "Not enough points" badge appears under the points field and the Send button stays disabled.
If the send is rejected: the message reads "Your organization's wallet does not have enough balance to send points. Contact an organization owner to add funds."
How are the wallet and my monthly send budget different?
The company wallet is the pool of points your whole company sends from.
Your monthly send budget is the most points you can send in one month. The Send window shows what is left, for example "6,000 pts left this month."
A send needs both. You can have budget left and still see this message if the wallet is low.
What should I check?
Look at the wallet balance. Owners click Wallet in the left sidebar. The balance shows at the top.
Add points if it is low. Owners and Finance click Buy Points on the Wallet page. See How do I add points to my wallet? Then try your send again.
Check Autopay. Owners can click Manage Autopay on the Wallet page to see if the wallet refills on its own. Autopay only refills the wallet if your organization has a payment method saved and set as the default.
Not an Owner? Please ask an Owner or Finance user to add points. Admins who are limited to certain groups cannot see the wallet balance.
Good to know
Automatic payouts, like campaign rewards, take points from the same wallet. A big payout can use up the balance quickly.
A higher monthly send budget does not add points to the wallet. For limits on sending, see What happens when I reach my monthly send limit or run out of points to send?
