There will be times where your bidders will reach out because they cannot remember how to log into your auction; they likely will ask you about how to reset their forgotten password.
Luckily for them, because of our "magic link" feature, your bidders won’t have a password to log in and participate in your auction!
Here's how you can best guide those bidders in getting back into their account and back to placing bids:
Step 1: Log in using their "magic link."
Bidders should be able to log into their account by clicking on the "Log In" button on your Auctions page, then using the "magic link" provided to them once they enter either the phone number or email associated with their account. (They can also access this screen by clicking on the "Place Bid" option next to a specific item that they're interested in.
They will then be prompted to enter their email address or phone number to receive a “magic link”, which will quickly and securely log them back into the auction without having to enter their password.
Clicking the link will redirect your bidders to a page where they can re-enter their email or phone number; the system will then automatically verify that this information is correct and securely log your participants in to the auction.
They should then be able to click the green "Continue" button in order to access the auction and begin reviewing or bidding on all available items.
