Follow this step-by-step guide to transfer money to a local bank account in Pakistan:
If your funds are in GBP, you’ll need to convert them to USD before starting the transfer step below.
Preliminary Step: Convert GBP to USD
If your balance is in GBP, follow these steps to convert it to USD:
Go to your GBP balance in the nsave app.
Tap the menu (three dots) and select Exchange.
Enter the amount to exchange (minimum equivalent of $13) and confirm the transaction.
Step 1: Click on Send
Open your nsave app
Tap the “Send” button on your home screen
This will take you to the Recipients screen
Step 2: Add a New Recipient
Tap the ➕ icon at the top right corner
Step 3: Select Country and Currency
Choose Pakistan as the recipient country
Select PKR as the currency
Now enter the recipient details:
First Name
Last Name
Bank Account Number (IBAN or Account Number)
Make sure you are sending the transfer to an individual account.
At the moment, transfers to company or business accounts aren’t supported, the contact can only be created if the recipient is an individual (person-to-person transfer).
Tap Continue
Step 4: Add Recipient Address
Fill in the recipient’s contact number and full address
Tap Save Address to save the recipient profile
Step 5: Enter Amount & Review
Select the recipient
Enter the amount in USD you wish to send (Minimum: $27)
Note: If converting from GBP, the minimum currency exchange amount is equivalent to $13.
The app will show the converted PKR amount, the fee, and the current exchange rate
Add a reference (optional), then tap Preview
Step 6: Share Transfer Purpose
Choose the purpose of your transfer from the dropdown
Write a short description of why you’re sending the money
Tap Continue
✅ Done! Your withdrawal is now being processed.
The funds should arrive in the recipient’s Pakistani bank account within 1–3 business days. In rare cases, it may take a little longer depending on the receiving bank.
