Sometimes we're not able to offer a card to everyone who applies. We know that's disappointing — here's what it means and where you stand.
Why applications are declined
Card applications go through a number of eligibility, verification, and compliance checks. A decline can happen for a variety of reasons, most commonly:
Eligibility criteria — cards aren't yet available for every country of residence or every profile.
Verification checks — identity, address, or document checks couldn't be completed or didn't pass.
Regulatory obligations — legal and regulatory requirements that apply to certain regions or situations.
For privacy, security, and regulatory reasons, we're usually not able to share the specific reason behind a decision.
Can the decision be changed?
Unfortunately, no. Once an application has been declined, our support team can't override it, manually approve it, or share the internal details behind it. We understand this is frustrating, and we're sorry for the inconvenience.
What can I do next?
Keep using your nsave account — a declined card application does not affect your ability to save, receive, and hold funds with nsave through other supported methods.
Check back later — eligibility can change over time as we expand where and how cards are offered.
