January 29th 2026 Releases

Updated over a week ago

This month's release brings targeted improvements across SubcontractorHub, focused on control, clarity, and workflow consistency. These updates strengthen how Admin, Sales Velocity, Finance, and Project Management teams work together, reducing manual effort and improving visibility at every step.

Admin Updates That Strengthen the Foundation

Admin enhancements in this release focus on making configuration faster and more consistent across the platform. Global Value Sets can now be reused when creating project fields and stages, reducing repetitive setup. Kanban stage views now give admins control over which standard and custom fields appear per stage. Adder management is simplified with bulk pricing deletion by territory, and adder categories are now applied automatically for mounting type, optimizer, and energy management devices to keep proposals aligned with system details.

Visibility also improves with price information history logs, helping teams track pricing changes and accountability. Admins can now also attach product info files to materials, making detailed product information accessible directly from public proposals.

Roofing workflows expand with insurance-enabled jobs, allowing claim numbers to flow from proposals into projects and adding an insurance-specific stage. Additional updates include editable role names, expanded roofing webhook fields, including total square area, roofing material, and roofing area, new automation triggers for change orders and appointments, appointment reminder checkboxes, and clarified behavior for solar design setbacks moving forward. Admin users can now also view last login timestamps directly in the user list for better access visibility and compare data more easily with a new report field comparison option. Document workflows have also been enhanced with a commercial or residential indicator in document triggers, ensuring the correct document templates are applied based on property type.

Sales Velocity Updates That Improve Context and Accuracy

Sales Velocity updates focus on capturing better insights and reducing follow-ups. Welcome Call workflows now include AI-powered sentiment detection, allowing teams to record and understand customer responses more clearly. Roofing proposals also benefit from insurance claim tracking, with claim numbers visible in proposals and carried through to project details when enabled. These improvements help sales teams stay informed and aligned throughout the sales cycle. Sales teams can now also reuse existing solar designs using the Design Seeding feature, which allows a proposal design to be copied into a new proposal for the same customer by entering a previous proposal ID. This removes the need to redesign layouts and helps teams move faster when creating multiple proposals for a single customer.

Finance Updates That Add Flexibility

Finance workflows gain added flexibility with the introduction of GoodLeap loan autopay controls across all job types. This update gives teams more consistent payment management options while keeping financing workflows moving smoothly.

Project Management Updates That Increase Visibility

Project Management updates focus on keeping work organized and transparent. Service maintenance now uses a refreshed layout with additional fields, and teams can add new roles and users while creating a service. List views are more flexible, allowing the same field to be added multiple times when needed. For Seamgfless Energy projects, a new request payment funding button is available once funding is initiated, enabling direct chat and faster coordination.

Project notes now support sharing public URLs for site survey and installation images, making visual references easier to access. Service workflows improve by clearly handling multiple service entries, ensuring the most recent request stays active while maintaining visibility into prior submissions. Engineering and change order services now display multiple stages once accepted, giving teams a clearer view of progress and status.

Across Admin, Sales Velocity, Finance, and Project Management, these January updates reinforce a more connected and reliable platform. Each improvement is designed to support clearer decisions, faster execution, and better collaboration, so teams can focus on moving work forward with confidence.
