Step 1: Create a Talent Manager account

  1. Follow this link.

  2. Enter your preferred email address and create a password, or select Continue with Google/Microsoft:

  3. Select Talent Rep on the page that opens next and click Create an account:

  4. Provide your Name and the Agency you work for, and click Continue:

  5. All set!πŸŽ‰ Your account is created.

Step 2: Invite your Talent to connect


πŸ“ŒOnly verified talent can be submitted for Whalar Brand Deals. To start the verification process, you must complete steps 6 and 7 below.

1. Log in to your Foam account.

2. Click on your profile icon in the top right and select "Add Talent".

3. Select the platform you'd like to add manually from the dropdown, enter the creator's handle, and click "Next".

4. Confirm the account you want to add by clicking "Next".

5. Complete the creator's profile information and click "Next".

6. On the creator's connections page, click the "Invite" button on the right to invite them to authenticate on Foam. This will send an invitation to the creator's preferred email address.

πŸ“Œ If the creator already has a Foam account, please contact our support team using the chatbot or via hello@foam.io, and we'll assist you with inviting them.

7. Once the creator accepts the invite and connects their social accounts, the manual record will automatically update with the verified one, allowing you to access the creator's detailed metrics and submit them for Whalar Brand Deals.

Step 3: Have your Talent accept your invitation

Accepting an invite from your Talent Manager is a breeze, but the process differs based on whether you already have a Foam account or not.

For creators new to Foam

1. Click the Connect button in the email invitation you receive from your Talent Manager:

2. Set your password and press the Sign up button. Alternatively, you can sign up with Google or Microsoft, provided your email address is linked to either. πŸ—οΈπŸ“‹

3. Connect your Social account. Connecting your socials is required to complete the registration process. Start by connecting your Instagram and/or TikTok. Once either is connected, you'll be able to link your YouTube.


Step 4: Submit your Talents for brand deals

Unverified talent cannot be submitted for Whalar Brand Deals. To apply for brand deals, the creator needs to be verified (connected to Foam). For more information, please refer to this guide.

1. Log in to your Foam account.

2. Go to Talent >> My Roster to review the creators you currently manage:

3. Find the talent you want to submit for Whalar brand deals and click on their name on their profile card:

4. Navigate to the Brand Deals tab and click Submit Creator:

5. Confirm that you have permission to act on behalf of your talent and click Continue:

6. That’s it! Your talent's account is now under review.

7. Inform the Whalar Brand Team Member once done.

Step 5: Complete your Talent's Brand Deal Profile page

If your talent has been accepted for Whalar brand deals, you'll be required to complete their profile details. This is the key to making them discoverable for brand collaborations, unlocking the message center and the payments tab.

  1. Click on the Talent card

  2. Select Brand Deals Profile

  3. Compete the required sections below

    • My Profile (required)

    • Personal Information (required)

    • Campaign email notifications

    • Bio (required)

    • Tags (required)

    • Indicative Fee

    • Shipping Address

Step 6: Complete your Talent's Payment page

1. Log in to your Foam account.

2. Click on the Talent card.

3. Select Payments.

4. You'll be prompted to set up a two-step verification – enter your mobile number and click Send code to request a verification code:

5. Input the code received through the message and click Submit. If you didn't receive the code via message, no worries – you'll get it through an automated call within the next 2 minutes:

5. Complete the Address page: First, select the payment type. Then, enter the contact email, phone number, name, and mailing address of the recipient. Once completed, click Next.

  • If the payment is going to the representing agency, please select "Company" in the Type field.

  • If the payment is going directly to the creator, please select "Individual".
    ​

**If the payment type is set to "Company", the name fields (First Name, Middle Name and Last Name) are optional.

6. Complete the Payment Method page: From the dropdown menu, select your preferred payment method and enter your banking details. The payment methods and currencies may differ depending on the country you selected on the Address page (Step 5). Once completed, click Next.

Make sure to check the "Name on Account" field 🎯

  • If the payment type is set to "Individual", the field will automatically include the name you entered in Step 5. No action is required on your side.

  • If the payment type is set to "Company", ensure to modify this field to match the company name added in Step 5.

7. Complete the Tax Forms page: The page will automatically detect your location and request the necessary tax information to comply with the local laws of that country/jurisdiction.

8. Complete the VAT information and click Next.

9. Voila! You should see a confirmation message on your screen:

Step 7: Accept the campaign proposal

1. Log in to your Foam account.

2. Click on the Talent card

3. Navigate to the Messages tab.

4. Click on the relevant campaign on the left to review the campaign proposal.

5. Review the proposal and click Accept Proposal.
