Once confirmed, your new email becomes your login for the platform and the Stripe membership portal, and the address where you'll receive all member and marketing emails.

Before you start, make sure you have:
Access to your current email — we'll send a 6-digit code there to confirm it's you. If you cannot access this, please reach out to support@watersaboveuniversity.com
Access to your new email — we'll send a separate 6-digit code there to confirm the new address.
A few minutes — each code is valid for 10 minutes. If a code expires, you can request a new one.
✅ Step-by-Step
Click your avatar in the top corner to open Settings.
Go to Account Settings → Email.
Select the option to change your email. We'll send a 6-digit code to your current email.
Enter the code to confirm it's you. (Codes expire after 10 minutes — request a new one if needed.)
Enter your new email address.
We'll send a 6-digit code to your new email. Enter it to verify.
That's it — your email is updated.

Once your new email is confirmed, it automatically becomes:
Your platform login — use the new address next time you sign in. Changing your email does NOT change your password—use the same password.
Your Stripe membership portal login — this syncs automatically. You don't need to update anything in Stripe separately. Details on the Membership Portal are available HERE
Your contact address — all member communications and marketing emails will now go to your new email.
No other account details change. Your password, membership tier, and account history stay exactly as they were.
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
I can no longer access my original email. How do I change it?
If you've lost access to your current email, you won't be able to complete the verification step on your own. Reach out to support@watersaboveuniversity.com and we'll help you update it.
I didn't receive my verification code.
Check your spam or junk folder first. If it's not there, the code may have expired (they're valid for 10 minutes) — return to the Email settings and request a new one.
Do I need to update my email in Stripe separately?
No. Your Stripe membership portal login updates automatically when you change your email on the platform.
Will changing my email affect my membership or billing?
No. Your membership tier, billing, and account history are unaffected — only the email address tied to your account changes.
Does this change my password?
No. Your password stays the same. You'll just sign in with your new email going forward.
