If you bought your subscription in the App Store (on iPhone or iPad), you can also use it on instories.com. The website recognizes it only when you sign in to the same account.
How to sign in on the website
Go to instories.com and click Login in the top-right corner.
Select Continue with Apple.
Sign in with the same Apple ID you used to buy the subscription.
👉 Please Note: If you sign in with Google or email instead, the website creates a separate free account, and you’ll see the Free plan there.
If you choose to hide your email, your profile will show an address ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com — that’s normal.
I signed in, but I still see the Free plan
In the Instories app, open the menu → My Account and tap Restore at the bottom.
On the website, click the colored square in the top-right corner → the pencil icon next to your email → Logout.
Log in again with Continue with Apple.
If your browser translates the page automatically, turn translation off for instories.com: it can interfere with Apple sign-in.
Bought on Android?
For now, subscriptions bought on Android can only be used in the mobile app.
What you’ll see on the website
Projects from your phone won’t appear there: they are stored on the device where they were created and don’t sync yet. You can save a finished video and upload it to the web editor as media.
The web editor has its own set of tools, which differs from the mobile app.
Still not working?
While signed in on the website, open app.instories.com/support-info, copy the text shown there and send it to us in the support chat. Please also attach screenshots of the Subscription section on the website and My Account in the app, and tell us if you signed in to the app with an email.
