What types of notifications does Examply send?

Examply sends notifications for the following events:

  • Task assigned to you

  • Task due date approaching

  • Comment added to a task you're following

  • Task status changed

  • Project update posted

How do I configure my notifications?

  1. Go to your account settings.

  2. Find the Notifications section.

  3. Click the toggle next to each notification type to turn it on or off.

  4. Click Save to apply your changes.

You can also control how you receive notifications. Select your preferred delivery method from the notification settings panel — Email, In-app, or Both.

How do I set my notification frequency?

Examply sends notifications in real time by default, but you can change this. Some users prefer to receive a daily digest instead of individual alerts.

To switch to digest mode, go to this screen and select "Daily digest" from the dropdown. Your digest will be sent at some point in the morning.

How do admins configure team notifications?

Admins can configure task notification settings at the team level. This means that certain notifications can be turned on for everyone in a team at once, without each person having to update their own settings.

To configure team notification defaults, go to Settings and open the Notifications section. From there, you can enable or disable specific task notification types for all team members.

FAQs

Can I turn off notifications for a specific project?

Yes. Open the relevant project in Examply, navigate to its notification settings, and toggle off the notification types you want to disable. Changes take effect immediately.

Will I still get notified if I'm on leave?

Notifications are sent regardless of your status. If you don't want to receive them while you're away, you'll need to turn them off manually before you go.

Can I get notifications via Slack?

Yes. Examply integrates with Slack — connect your workspace and configure Slack notification routing from the Integrations section in your account settings.
