Exports in meez What's Available

A full overview of every export type available in meez, including recipes, order lists, costs, nutrition analysis, and inventory results.

meez gives you several ways to get your data out of the app, whether you need to share recipes with your team, pull cost reports, or download your inventory results. Here is a full overview of everything you can currently export.

1. Recipe Export (Word Document or PDF)

Available to: All Paid Subscriptions · All team members

You can export any individual recipe or an entire recipe book as a Word document (.docx) or a PDF.

To export a recipe:

  • Navigate to the recipe page

  • Click the More menu (three vertical dots)

  • Select Export and choose Word Document, or select Print to generate a PDF

  • The file will land in your downloads folder

Pro tip: You can export or print an entire recipe book from the book details page. All recipes will be compiled into a single document.

2. Order List

Available to: All Paid Subscriptions · All team members

An order list export gives you a purchasing summary for any recipe (or combination of recipes), including quantities, units of measure, item IDs, and vendor names. Ingredients across multiple recipes are automatically consolidated.

To export an order list:

  • Navigate to the recipe (or recipe book)

  • Click the More menuExportOrder List

Pro tip: A popular approach is to create a master "Order List" recipe and add your individual recipes to it as sub-recipes. Then export the order list from that single recipe to get everything in one shot.

3. Recipe Costs and Ingredient Costs (CSV)

Available to: All Paid Subscriptions · Account Owners, Editors, and Managers

These exports give you a spreadsheet breakdown of your cost data, sent directly to your email as a CSV file.

Export Recipe Costs includes, per location:

  • Recipe name, total yield, yield unit of measure, total recipe cost, cost per yield unit

Export Ingredient Costs includes, per location:

  • Location, item ID, purchase item name, ingredient name, vendor name, purchase cost, purchase unit of measure

To export:

  • Click the +New button in the top right corner of the app

  • Select Export from the dropdown

  • Choose Recipe Costs or Ingredient Costs

4. Nutrition Analysis (CSV)

Available to: Enterprise Subscriptions · Account Owners, Editors, and Managers

The nutrition analysis export gives you a CSV spreadsheet with the full nutritional breakdown for all recipes that are eligible to produce a nutrition label. This is useful for compliance, menu labeling, or sharing detailed nutritional data with your team or external stakeholders.

Each row includes:

  • All values shown on the nutrition label in exact numbers

  • Full ingredient list

  • Allergen information

To export:

  • Click the +New button in the top right corner of the app

  • Select Export from the dropdown

  • Choose Nutrition Analysis

5. Inventory Count Results (CSV or Excel)

Available to: Accounts with Inventory Counting · Owners and Managers

After posting an inventory count, you can export the results from your analytics page.

To export the top inventory chart:

  • Go to AnalyticsInventory tab

  • Filter by location and date range

  • Click the three dots in the upper right corner of the chart

  • Select ExportUnderlying Data → choose CSV or Excel

To export any other chart on the Inventory tab:

  • Click the three dots in the upper right corner of the chart

  • Select Export and choose your file type
