How to Add or Remove Multiple Work Orders on a Single Day for Non-Recurring Services

Explains how to schedule or remove more than one work order event on the same day for a non-recurring service. You can both of these processes from the Service page or from the Customer profile.

You can now schedule add or remove multiple distinct work order events to or from a single day within a non-recurring service! This feature is useful when a job requires multiple actions on a single day, such as a delivery and a collection, allowing you to manage them within the same service order. It enhances scheduling flexibility, allowing you to manage multi-step jobs efficiently without needing to create separate service orders.

You can take these actions in two places within Hauler Hero: from the Service page or from the Customer profile. Find your specific step-by-step instructions below.

Note: Multiple work order events are only available for non-recurring configured services.


How to Add Multiple Events to a Single Day for Non-Recurring Services

These steps allow you to add additional On Request Services (or Work Orders) for a date when one is already scheduled.

Important Note: This functionality is only available for non-recurring services. If you are viewing a recurring service, the option to add a second event to a day that is already scheduled will not be available.

How to Add an Additional Event or Work Order from the Service Page

  1. From the service details page, go to the Details & pricing tab.

  2. In the Events calendar, select a date that already has a scheduled event.

  3. Click the + Event button to add another event for that day.

  4. In the Action field, select the type of event you want to add from the dropdown menu. (Not seeing the options you’re expecting? Confirm you have the correct ones activated in your settings for this business line [Attributes > Actions]).

  5. Click the blue Save button. A new event will be created for the selected day, and a corresponding work order will appear in the WORK ORDERS list below.

How to Add an Additional On Request Service From the Customer Profile

  1. From the Services tab of a customer, you can also click the + plus icon.

  2. This will to open the Add / Remove Event drawer.

  3. Select a date on the calendar that you want to add the event to.

  4. This will populate the existing WO events for that day in a list.

  5. Click + Event.

  6. Choose your action from the drop down menu and click Save.


How to Remove One or More Non-Recurring Events from a Single Day

These steps allow you to remove multiple On Request Services (or Work Orders).

How to Delete Events from the Service Page

  1. From the service details page, go to the Details & pricing tab.

  2. In the Events calendar, select a date that already has a scheduled event.

  3. To remove an event, click the trash can icon to the right of the event you wish to delete.

  4. The event will be highlighted and marked as Pending deletion. You can select multiple events for deletion.

  5. To confirm and finalize the deletion, click the Save button at the top of the Events panel.

How to Delete Events From the Customer Profile

  1. From the Services tab of a customer profile, click the + plus icon.

  2. This opens the Add / Remove Event drawer.

  3. Select a date on the calendar that you want to remove the event(s) from.

  4. To remove events, click the trash can icon to the right of the events you wish to delete.

  5. The events will be highlighted and marked as Pending deletion.

  6. To confirm and finalize the deletion, click the Save button at the top of the panel.
