The estimate looks wrong — how do I change it?

Written by Jonathan Zadegan

Every Homsie estimate is fully adjustable — the AI's number is a starting point, not the final word. Open the client, click Review Evaluation on the property, and you have a few ways to correct it:

  • Set the value yourself. Click the pencil/edit icon next to the estimated value and type your own number. The tag changes from "AI Suggested" to "You," so it's clear the value is your call.

  • Fix the property details. In Edit Details, correct anything that's off — square footage, style, year built, and so on. Wrong details are a common reason an estimate looks off.

  • Swap the comparables. Click Edit Comparables to remove comps that don't fit and add better ones (search the MLS by address or MLS #). Each comp Homsie's AI chose shows the reasoning behind it.

  • Re-run or keep. After changing details or comps, Homsie asks whether to Re-run AI Estimation on your updates or Keep Current Value.

When it looks right, approve the evaluation.
