Configuring your Homsie settings

Written by Jonathan Zadegan

Your Settings page is where you set your identity, your client-facing branding, and your MLS data connections. To access settings, click your profile on the bottom left of the application. It has three sections.

Personal Information

Your profile details:

  • Profile photo — upload a JPG, PNG, or GIF (up to 5MB). This is the photo clients see next to your name on their client portal and in the monthly valuation emails.

  • Email address — the email you log in with. This can't be changed.

  • First and last name, phone number, and title (e.g. "Broker") — your contact details.

  • Team name and brokerage name — how your business is identified.

  • Role — your permission level (for example, Admin). It's set by your team and shown here for reference.

Two settings here shape what your clients see and where their replies go:

  • Reply-to email — when a client replies to one of your Homsie emails, it goes to this address. Leave it blank to use the assigned agent's email or the default. If you want all reply to emails to go to a centralized inbox for inbound leads, set it up here.

  • Face of the Company — sets whose identity is shown to clients on client-facing surfaces (their portal and the emails they receive). Emails and replies still route to the assigned agent — this only changes the displayed name, photo, and identity your clients see.

Click Update Profile to save.

Portal Branding

This is your white-label — what makes the client portal and client emails look like they're coming from you, not from Homsie.

  • Organization logo — upload your logo (PNG, SVG, or JPG, up to 5MB). It appears on your clients' portal and their emails.

  • Color theme — pick a preset theme or set a custom color to match your brand.

Click Save Branding to apply.

MLS Boards

These are the MLS boards your organization is connected to for property data. Each board shows a status:

  • Live — connected and active; Homsie can pull data for that area.

  • Not started — the board is available but needs an agreement completed first. Click Complete agreement to sign the required data agreement and activate it.

Homsie's estimates rely on being connected to the board that covers a property's area — so if a market isn't active for you yet, this is where it starts.

Some settings — like Portal Branding and MLS Boards — are managed at the organization level and may only be available to admins.
