Jolly enrolls the employees your HRIS reports as active. Anyone with another status is not enrolled.
Status by status
Active - enrolled and earning
Applicant or pending - not enrolled, until they are hired and marked active
On hold, leave or inactive - not enrolled. Someone already enrolled who moves to this status pauses until they are active again
Terminated - not enrolled
Two things that catch people out
An old applicant record left behind after someone is hired can prevent them enrolling
A rehire set up as a brand new record starts over. Reactivating the original keeps their history
Keeping one clear active record per person in your HRIS avoids both.
