What happens when you switch

Switch type

When it takes effect

⬆️ Upgrade (e.g. Essential → Pro, Pro → Prestige)

Immediately — you're charged the price difference right away, with no proration. If your USD balance can't cover it, the app will tell you which account it will charge instead.

⬇️ Downgrade (e.g. Prestige → Pro, Pro → Essential)

At the end of your current billing cycle. There's no refund or credit for downgrading or cancelling.

⚠️ Downgrading from Prestige within 6 months of your Infinite card's issue date: your Infinite card is locked when your downgrade takes effect (the end of your current billing cycle). If you return to Prestige within one month of that, it's unlocked. If you don't, it's closed. After 6 months from the card's issue date, you keep it even if you leave Prestige. Your Platinum card remains available either way.

⚠️ Downgrading from Prestige to Pro — GBP IBAN: On Prestige, all three wire IBANs (EUR, USD, and GBP) are included. Pro only includes EUR and USD wire IBANs. If you downgrade from Prestige to Pro, your GBP wire IBAN will move to the standard $0.99/month fee from the start of your next billing cycle.

ℹ️ Downgrading from Pro to Essential — wire IBANs and your card: your EUR and USD wire IBANs move to the standard $0.99/month fee from the start of your next billing cycle. If you've paid for at least one month of Pro, you keep your Platinum card at no cost.
