The Handy is not able to connect through Bluetooth

Make sure that the device you are attempting to connect to is using Bluetooth 4.2 or greater.

Depending on the operating system and device, you may also need to enable Location Services so Bluetooth can connect.

However, aside from third party services, Bluetooth is only intended to be used for connecting the Handy to Wi-Fi.

The Handy cannot find or connect to my Wi-Fi network

The Handy chipset can only detect Wi-Fi signals on the 2.4 GHz band. While most routers should be broadcasting both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz signals, it is possible that your router may have 2.4 GHz broadcasting disabled. We recommend turning it on through your router settings and trying the Handy setup again.

Your router may also have the option to use a different name for the 2.4 GHz network and the 5 GHz network. It is recommended that you enable that option to ensure that the Handy connects to the correct one.

The Handy keeps disconnecting from Wi-Fi

If your Handy is able to connect, but keeps losing connection when connected to a Wi-Fi network. An option is to set up a hotspot on a smartphone and connect your Handy to the hotspot instead.

You can read more about connecting to a hotspot here.

The Handyverse app doesn’t detect my Handy

The Handyverse app can only detect the Handy when it is set to Bluetooth mode. Set your Handy to Bluetooth mode by pressing and holding the Action button, it should look like the image below:

I completed the Wi-Fi setup but my Handy is not connecting to the Internet when I turn it on

Every time you turn on the Handy it will start in offline mode by default. You will need to click the Wi-Fi button to get your Handy online.

I cannot connect my Handy to the Wi-Fi in a hotel or another public network

It is not possible to connect the Handy to managed networks, like a hotel or an office building, where you do not have credentials for the Wi-Fi router.

A workaround is to set up a hotspot and connect your Handy to the hotspot. Please read our guide on connecting to a hotspot here.
