Disclosure: This guide is published by QuoteIQ, and QuoteIQ is ranked #1. To keep that fair, we include QuoteIQ's weak spots and cite a source for every price. We have no business relationship with the other seven platforms. QuoteIQ details come from the QuoteIQ Help Center. Competitor prices were checked on each vendor's pricing page on October 20, 2026.
Quick answer: what is the best CRM for a plumbing business in 2026?
Our pick for most plumbing companies with 1 to 20 people is QuoteIQ. On every plan, starting at $29.99/month for one user, it covers an AI receptionist for calls you can't pick up, options estimates (for example, repair the water heater or replace it), deposits, Affirm, Klarna and Afterpay financing, a parts section on every estimate and invoice, and card, ACH and QR-code payments on site. Job photos and inspection forms start on Beginner ($99.99, 2 users). A business texting number with AI auto-reply, On The Way texts and QuickBooks Online sync start on Pro ($199.99, 4 users). Dispatch, GPS tracking and truck inventory start on Elite ($299.99, 10 users).
If you're solo and want to start free, ServiceM8 has a free plan capped at 30 jobs a month. If you run a large multi-location shop, get a quote from ServiceTitan. Jobber is well reviewed. We place it last because a plumbing team that needs job costing and two-way texting pays more on Jobber than on QuoteIQ at 4, 6 and 10 users.
The 2026 ranking:
QuoteIQ: best all-in-one plumbing CRM for small and growing shops
Housecall Pro: best established option with published prices
ServiceM8: best for solo plumbers who want to start free
ServiceTitan: best for large, multi-location plumbing companies
Workiz: best for plumbing shops run from the phone
Service Fusion: best flat price for larger teams
Kickserv: lowest published price for a 5-user team
Jobber: strong reviews, but costs rise with users and add-ons
How did we evaluate plumbing CRMs?
A plumbing day rarely goes to plan. A burst pipe jumps the line, a "quick" drain call turns into a sewer camera job, and the customer wants a price before you open the wall. So we looked at:
Missed-call coverage. What happens to the call that comes in while you're under a sink?
Quoting in the driveway. Options, deposits, signatures and financing from a phone.
Parts and materials. Can fittings, valves and fixtures go on the ticket, and can the shop track truck stock?
Getting paid on site. Card, ACH, tap or QR, plus deposits and partial payments.
Published price for real team sizes. We used vendor pricing pages only.
We kept the list to CRM and field service platforms plumbers actually use. Accounting tools aren't in scope, though QuoteIQ syncs with QuickBooks Online on Pro and up.

1. QuoteIQ: best all-in-one plumbing CRM
Best for: Owner-operators and plumbing companies of up to about 20 people.
What plumbers use most
An AI receptionist (every plan). Virtual Call Team answers calls around the clock, qualifies the lead, takes a message and sends you a summary. It costs 125 IQ Credits per minute. A typical 3-minute call uses about 375 credits, so Essentials' 500 monthly credits cover a little more than one call; Pro's 3,000 cover about 24 minutes.
AI replies to texts (Pro and up). ClientHub gives you a business number for two-way calls and texts. Its AI Auto-Reply answers the first text when you're on a job, using 4 IQ Credits per SMS.
Options estimates (every plan). Put a repair and a replacement on the same estimate, or a standard and a premium fixture. Customers check the option they want and sign on their phone.
Deposits and financing (every plan). Set a deposit as a dollar amount or a percentage; when the customer pays it, the estimate is marked Accepted. Consumer Financing offers Affirm (up to $30,000, up to 36 months), Klarna and Afterpay, and you're paid upfront minus BNPL fees.
Parts on every ticket (every plan). The Materials section lists each part with quantity, unit and cost, with a Materials Subtotal and an option to hide per-unit detail. On Elite and Max, linking materials to Inventory fills in cost and deducts stock when the invoice is paid. Inventory tracks warehouses, individual trucks and technicians' kits, with purchase orders for restocking.
Payment on the spot (every plan). Customers can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or ACH. You can key in a card in the app or use QuickPay to show a QR code or send a payment link with no invoice needed first.
Photos before you open the wall (Beginner and up). QuoteIQ Cam stores photo and video with 4K upload, and custom inspection forms let you record pre-existing conditions with a photo on every point.
Multi-day jobs (every plan). A repipe that runs Monday to Wednesday shows as one continuous job on the calendar.
Arrival texts and dispatch. On The Way texts are on Pro and up. Dispatching and EmployeeHub GPS tracking are on Elite and Max.
Self-pricing on your website (Elite and up). InstaQuote's plumbing template example prices services like a toilet install or leak fix, with a crawlspace-access add-on and a camera inspection upsell.
QuoteIQ pricing (new subscriptions from October 2026):
Plan | Users | Monthly | Annual (per month) | IQ Credits/mo |
Essentials | 1 | $29.99 | $25.00 | 500 |
Beginner | 2 | $99.99 | $83.33 | 1,500 |
Pro | 4 | $199.99 | $166.67 | 3,000 |
Elite | 10 | $299.99 | $250.00 | 5,000 |
Max | 20 | $699.99 | $583.33 | 8,000 |
Extra users: $25/user/month on any plan. No contracts. Annual billing is 12 months for the price of 10.
Pros
AI call answering, options estimates, deposits, financing and on-site payments start at $29.99.
Truck-level inventory, dispatch and GPS for 10 users at $299.99.
Native tools for photos, inspections and self-quoting, with no required third-party integrations.
Cons
The free trial needs a card. If you change plans during the trial, the trial ends and you're billed immediately.
AI minutes are metered. Essentials' credits won't cover a busy phone line, so plan on extra credits ($25 for 2,500) or a higher plan.
No automatic reminders for unpaid invoices. You send them manually by email with the Send Reminder button.
Job costing starts on Pro, and labor cost has to be typed into Job Reporting.
We didn't find equipment history tracking (for example, a water heater's model and install date) or a flat-rate price book in the help center.
Card-processing rates aren't published. The help center says fees vary by payment method.
2. Housecall Pro: best established option with published prices
Housecall Pro's pricing page lists Basic $79/month ($59 annually, 1 user), Essentials $189/month ($149 annually, 5 users) and Max $329/month ($299 annually, 8 users, $35 per extra user). Basic covers scheduling, dispatch, estimates, invoicing, payments with consumer financing, a price book and job costing. Essentials adds flat-rate pricing, routes, checklists, photo reports and GPS. Max adds recurring service plans, a sales proposal tool and route optimization. CSR AI (its answering product) and Voice are listed as add-ons without prices. Card processing starts at 2.59% and bank payments cost 1%. The trial is 14 days with no card.
Pros: Flat-rate pricing from Essentials, and every price is on the page. Cons: AI answering is an extra with no listed price, and service plans need Max.
3. ServiceM8: best for solo plumbers who want to start free
ServiceM8's US pricing is based on jobs per month, not users. Free covers 1 user and 30 jobs a month. Starter is $29 (50 jobs), Growing $79 (150 jobs), Premium $149 (500 jobs) and Premium Plus $349 (1,500+ jobs), all with unlimited users. Extra jobs cost 20¢ each. The feature list includes quotes with options, on-the-way SMS, two-way SMS, asset management, recurring jobs and offline access. ServiceM8 Phone starts at $19/month. The 14-day trial needs no card.
Pros: A real free plan and unlimited users on paid plans. Cons: Busy months can push you up a tier, and the phone system is an extra charge.
4. ServiceTitan: best for large plumbing companies
ServiceTitan's pricing page highlights its dispatch board, call recording, marketing attribution and reporting, and asks you to book a demo for a price. It suits companies with dispatchers, CSRs and several locations.
Pros: Built for scale. Cons: No published price and more system than most small shops need.
5. Workiz: best for plumbing shops run from the phone
Workiz's pricing page shows Standard, Pro and Ultimate with "request pricing." All plans include a local number, recurring jobs, online booking, online payments and consumer financing. Automations are capped at 5, 10 or 30. Ultimate adds service plans, flat rate, inventory, equipment tracking and multi-day jobs. Genius Answering, its AI answering product, is sold separately. Trial: 7 days, no card.
Pros: Phone tools at the core, and equipment tracking on Ultimate. Cons: No public price, and the plumbing-heavy features sit on the top plan.
6. Service Fusion: best flat price for larger teams
Service Fusion charges $245/month for Starter, $382 for Plus and $627 for Pro on monthly billing (15% less billed annually), and every plan includes unlimited users. Inventory, job photos and job costing are add-ons on Starter and included on Plus. Its support line is open weekdays.
Pros: One price no matter how many techs you hire. Cons: A high entry price for a 1- or 2-person shop.
7. Kickserv: lowest published price for a 5-user team
Kickserv lists Start at $60/month for 5 users, Run at $119 for 10 users and Scale at $199 for 20 users, with 20% off annual plans. Start includes automated email and text reminders, time and expense tracking and QuickBooks Online. Run adds dispatch mapping and GPS check-ins; QuickBooks Desktop is $50/month extra.
Pros: Low published prices with several users included. Cons: Fewer built-in AI and financing tools than the platforms above.
8. Jobber: strong reviews, but costs rise with users and add-ons
Jobber is popular for good reasons. GetApp shows 4.6/5 from 1,487 verified reviews, and the iOS app shows 4.8 from about 21,000 ratings.
Here's why it's last for plumbing teams. On Jobber's pricing page (no commitment, checked October 20, 2026), job costing and two-way SMS begin on Grow: $199 for 1 user, $299 for up to 5, $399 for up to 10, plus $29 for each extra user.
Team size | Jobber Grow | QuoteIQ equivalent |
4 users | at least $286/mo | Pro, $199.99/mo |
6 users | at least $328/mo | Pro + 2 users, $249.99/mo |
10 users | at least $399/mo | Elite, $299.99/mo |
AI answering costs extra too: Jobber's Receptionist add-on is $29/month on Core, Connect and Grow. Pipeline is $49/month and Marketing Suite is $99/month on those plans; all three come with Plus (from $499/month for up to 5 users). Card processing is 2.9% + 30¢ and ACH is 1%. Annual prepaid plans are non-refundable mid-term.
On support, GetApp rates Jobber 4.6, and its summary notes that "a minority of users report slow response times, difficulty escalating issues, and inconsistent support quality when facing complex problems." That's the minority view, not the typical one.
In Jobber's favor: no card needed for the 14-day trial, a cheaper Connect plan ($199 for up to 5 users) if you don't need job costing or two-way SMS, and Xero sync.
Which plumbing CRM should you choose?
Solo plumber
QuoteIQ Essentials ($29.99) if you want AI call answering, financing and options estimates from day one. ServiceM8 Free if you do fewer than 30 jobs a month and want to pay nothing yet.
Shop with 2 to 5 plumbers
QuoteIQ Pro ($199.99, 4 users) for a texting line with AI auto-reply, On The Way texts, job costing, a client portal and QuickBooks Online. Kickserv Start ($60, 5 users) is the lowest published price if you need fewer built-in tools.
Shop with 6 or more trucks
QuoteIQ Elite ($299.99, 10 users) for dispatch, GPS, route optimization and truck inventory. Service Fusion's unlimited users or a ServiceTitan quote make sense once you have a full office staff.
Do plumbers need a separate website tool?
You need a website that turns "plumber near me" searches into calls. Budget Built Sites, a QuoteIQ subsidiary according to its Terms of Service, builds contractor sites with AI and offers a 3-day free trial. It doesn't publish a price, and payments after the trial are non-refundable. QuoteIQ's own AI Website Builder is a $34.99/month add-on, or free on Max.
