How to use your Home dashboard

Learn how your day-to-day Home dashboard works

Your Home dashboard shows key performance data and daily actions across your sites. Use it to see how your business is performing today and what needs your attention. This article walks you through each section and how to use it.


What you can do with your Home dashboard

Your Home dashboard helps you:

  • Monitor occupancy and revenue across your sites.

  • Track overdue invoices and follow up on payments.

  • See tasks, leads, and sales opportunities that need attention today.

  • Review what is happening at each site, including move‑ins, move‑outs, and available units.

Use this as your day‑to‑day starting point when you log in to Stora.


Insights

The Insights section gives you a high‑level view across all of your sites. Use it to monitor occupancy, revenue, and outstanding invoices at a glance.

Occupancy

The Occupancy card shows the current occupancy of your sites, with a trendline for the past 30 days. It helps you see how full your sites are and spot recent changes in occupancy.

Click Occupancy to open a more detailed, filterable occupancy report.

Month‑to‑date revenue

The Month‑to‑date revenue card shows the total value of all invoices generated in the current month (after discounts and including tax), with a trendline for the past 30 days.

It includes all open invoices, both paid and unpaid, and resets at the start of each month.

Click Month‑to‑date revenue to see a filtered list of the invoices included in this total.

Awaiting payment

The Awaiting payment card shows the total outstanding balance across all open and overdue invoices for your account. It is not limited to the current month.

An invoice is removed from this total when it is paid or void.

Click Awaiting payment to open a filtered list of unpaid invoices.

💡 Use Awaiting payment to focus on overdue accounts and follow up on manual payments.


Actions

The Actions section highlights tasks that need your attention today. Stora automatically populates these to help you stay on top of leads, subscriptions and team work.

Active subscriptions to allocate

This shows active subscriptions that do not currently have a unit allocation. Allocate units here to ensure every active subscription is linked to a specific unit.

Move outs to deallocate

This shows subscriptions with a move‑out date in the past that still have an active unit allocation. Deallocate these units so they become available to rent again.

Move ins to allocate

This shows upcoming subscriptions that do not yet have a unit allocation. Click through to see these subscriptions and assign units before move‑in.

Unverified identities

This shows customers whose identity verification is still pending. Use this list to follow up on verification requests and keep your account secure.

Tasks to complete

This shows open tasks that have been assigned in your account. Review and complete these tasks to keep your team’s work up to date.

Prospects to review

This shows potential customers who have registered interest but are not yet active customers. Use this list to follow up with prospects and convert them into bookings.

Open deals

This shows deals that are currently in progress. Track these to keep on top of sales opportunities.

Price increase opportunities

This shows subscriptions or unit types that meet your criteria for a potential price increase. Review these to plan and apply price changes.

New Storefront leads

This shows any lead forms submitted on your Storefront in the past 24 hours. Use this as a quick way to pick up and respond to new enquiries.


Today in your Site(s)

The Today in your Site(s) section shows site‑specific data. If you have more than one site, you will see a dropdown that lets you choose which site’s data to view.

To focus on a single site:

  1. Open your Home dashboard in Stora.

  2. In Today in your Site(s), open the Site dropdown.

  3. Select the site you want to review.

The dashboard updates to show what is happening at that location today.

💡 If you manage multiple sites, switch between them here to quickly compare today’s activity at each location.

Site Map

This shows a preview of your Site Map with the current status of each unit.

Click the Site Map preview to open the full‑screen interactive map for the selected site.

Use this view to see which units are occupied, reserved or available at a glance. For more details, see How to use the Site Map.

Move ins and move outs

This section shows all move‑ins and move‑outs that are scheduled for today or in the future for the selected site.

Click a customer’s name to open their subscription and make any changes you need, such as updating dates or unit allocations.

Unit type availability

This shows your unit types for the selected site, including their price and current availability.

Use this list as a quick reference when you are discussing options with potential customers on the phone or in person.

Available Units

This shows all of your available units for the selected site.

It is useful when you are speaking with a customer and want to quickly see which specific units match their needs, without having to click and filter multiple times.
