We’re sorry Apple declined your request. Refunds for App Store purchases are decided only by Apple — we don’t have access to App Store payments and can’t approve, change or appeal Apple’s decision. However, you still have a few options:
1. Submit the request again
Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase and send a new request. Sometimes choosing a different topic or reason helps. Describe your situation clearly — for example, that you expected a free trial, cancelled right after the charge, or haven’t used the subscription.
2. Contact Apple Support via live chat
Scroll down and click Get more suggestions.
Select App Store and click Continue.
Click Get more help and choose Live chat.
Sign in with your Apple Account if prompted and wait for a specialist.
Have the order ID, the date and amount of the charge, and the result of your previous request ready.
3. Check with your bank
You can also contact the bank that issued your card and ask whether a refund or a dispute is possible for this charge.
The Instories purchase isn’t in the list on reportaproblem.apple.com?
Make sure you’re signed in with the Apple ID that was used for the payment.
Check your bank statement: if the charge says “Instories” instead of APPLE.COM/BILL, the subscription was bought on our website. Website refunds are handled by our team — message us in the chat with the email used at checkout and the last 4 digits of the card.
👉 Please Note: A refund request doesn’t cancel the subscription. To avoid the next renewal, cancel it here: https://subscriptions.instories.com/.
