Why aren’t my Meta ad metrics showing yet?
If you launched ads through Cuttable and are not seeing performance metrics right away, this is usually expected behavior from Meta.
Cuttable helps you create and launch ads. All ad performance data is processed, calculated, and displayed by Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Because of this, metrics may take time to appear.
Common reasons Meta metrics are delayed
1. Your campaign is new or in the learning phase
When a campaign first launches, Meta enters a learning phase to gather data and optimize delivery.
During the learning phase:
Metrics may be delayed or unstable
Costs can fluctuate
Some results may not appear immediately
This is normal and temporary.
2. Reporting and attribution delays
Meta does not always show conversions instantly.
Depending on your attribution settings, such as 1-day click or 7-day click,
conversions may appear hours or days after someone interacts with your ad.
3. Meta is still processing data
Even when ads are running correctly, Meta may need additional time to:
Process events such as purchases or leads
Match conversions to ads
Update reporting in Ads Manager
During this time, metrics may appear blank or incomplete.
What Cuttable can and can’t see
Cuttable helps you:
Create ads
Launch campaigns
Structure Meta ad accounts correctly
Cuttable does not:
Control Meta’s reporting system
Control when metrics appear
Change Meta attribution or processing delays
For the most accurate and up-to-date data, always check Meta Ads Manager directly.
If metrics still do not appear after sufficient time, Meta Support is the best team to investigate.
Why can’t I see my metrics on Cuttable yet?
If you are checking metrics on Cuttable’s Ad Performance page and do not see data updating in real time, this is expected.
Cuttable pulls performance data from Meta using the Meta Insights API. These metrics are not real time. Meta typically updates them at least once per day.
What this means:
Metrics in Cuttable may lag behind Meta Ads Manager
Data usually updates once daily, not continuously
Checking metrics multiple times per day may not show changes
We recommend reviewing your Cuttable ad performance daily.
Meta Ads Manager is always the source of truth for real-time or near real-time performance.
What happens next
Cuttable is working on adding a “last updated” timestamp to the Ad Performance page. This will show when data was last fetched from Meta.
Until this is available, allow up to 24 hours for metrics to update.
Still need help?
The metrics you’re looking for come directly from Meta. Delays or missing data are usually caused by Meta’s reporting systems or learning phase, not anything on Cuttable’s side.
We recommend giving Meta more time and checking Meta Ads Manager directly. If metrics continue to be delayed or missing, Meta Support is the best next step.
