What is a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN)?

An LMN is a signed statement from a licensed healthcare provider stating that a product or service is medically necessary to diagnose, treat, or monitor a health condition.

Some HSA/FSA administrators require an LMN before they will consider reimbursement.
