The interactive Map view of the Inventory tab allows you to quickly locate specific containers, understand their distribution across your service area, and filter them based on various attributes. Using this view is essential for visualizing asset locations, managing logistics, and quickly identifying containers with specific attributes in your service area. This geographic perspective provides valuable insights for operational planning and asset management.
Before you begin, ensure you have access to the Inventory tab module and that your containers have location data assigned.
This feature is currently in an open beta. If you run into any issues or have feedback, reach out to support with the blue chat bubble in your Hauler Hero account or support@haulerhero.com.

How to View and Filter Containers on the Inventory Map
Click the Inventory tab.
From the All containers page, click the Map tab located below the page title.
The map will display all geolocated containers as pins. Hover your cursor over any pin to see a pop-up with key details, such as the Container type, Serial number, and Material.
To narrow down the containers displayed, click the Filters button.
The Filters panel will appear. Click the Columns dropdown to select an attribute to filter by.
Options include: Container type | Serial number | Serialization | Container name | Measure | Default yard | Location type | Container status | Active | Customer | Manufacturer | Material | Condition | Color | Start date | Paint date | Warranty date | RFID tag | QR code | Barcode | Lock Bar | Wheels
Select an Operator (e.g., is, is not) and then choose a Value for your selected attribute.
To add more conditions, click + Add filter and repeat the process. The map will update in real-time to show only the containers that meet your specified criteria.
Troubleshooting
If a container does not appear on the map, it may be because its location or size information is missing. Navigate to the container’s detail page from the List view and verify that the Measure and location coordinates are correctly entered. The map only displays containers with valid location data.
Caveat: Some containers may not appear on the map if measure types or geo data weren’t populated during import.
