Jolly texts and emails employees about invitations, campaigns, Jolly Day reminders and referral updates. This article explains how text opt-outs work.
How does a text opt-out work?
An employee replies STOP to stop Jolly texts, and START to get them again.
Jolly saves the opt-out for the phone number, so it covers every organization. If someone works for two organizations on Jolly, both stop texting them.
Jolly blocks texts to an opted-out number before sending. No admin can override this, on purpose.
Neither you nor Jolly can opt someone back in. Only the employee can.
What does an opted-out employee still get?
They stay signed up in Jolly, keep earning points, and still get rewards in their Inbox.
They get no texts, so they may leave points unclaimed until Jolly Day. This can matter when you look at claim rates.
If you re-invite pending contacts, anyone who opted out shows as unreachable, not sent.
