What is the third-party payer agreement?

The third-party paying system makes it possible for an employee to order a subscription while the invoice is directly sent to the employer.

What are the advantages of the third-party system compared to buying separate subscriptions?

  • Up to 26% cheaper than separately purchased subscriptions

  • Employees order subscriptions themselves in Mbrella. Less workload for you

  • Receive 1 monthly invoice. Avoid any reimbursement administration

How to request a third-party payer agreement

If you already have an active agreement with a public transportation company, then follow these FAQs for NMBS-SNCB, STIB-MIVB, De Lijn or TEC.

If you don't yet have an active agreement, then follow these steps:

  1. Request an agreement with the desired public transport services

    1. SNCB, fill in this form

    2. STIB, send an e-mail to b2b@stib-mivb.brussels with this file filled in.

    3. De Lijn, fill in this form

    4. TEC, send an e-mail to busness@letec.be with this file filled in beforehand

  2. After finishing the steps, you will receive a contract within a few days

  3. Sign the contract electronically

  4. The public transport company will review your contract. After roughly 14 days, your third-party agreement will be activated

  5. Give our concierge access to the account as explained earlier in this article

  6. Navigate to your Mobility hub in the sidebar

  7. Scroll down to Public transport and click on the company you want to request an agreement for

  8. Click on Activate third-party payer agreement

  9. Follow the steps in the tutorial

  10. Send us a small message with the in-app chat to let us know that you've taken all the actions so our team can check if we've received the accesses.
