How checkout works and what to do if payment gets stuck

Complete payment, recognize the confirmation steps, and get help with checkout errors.

You can purchase through Buy now in the product editor or Proceed to Checkout in Your cart.

Complete checkout

  1. Review the selected product, portrait, size, color, quantity, and total.

  2. Enter the shipping details requested for physical products. The current checkout accepts US shipping addresses and asks for a phone number.

  3. Enter your payment details using the payment options shown.

  4. Complete any verification requested by your payment provider.

  5. Wait while Paw Prints shows Processing payment and then Preparing your order.

After confirmation, you will reach your order details or return to the portrait flow if your purchase requires you to create the artwork next.

Payment error

Read the message in checkout and correct the details it identifies. If payment is declined, follow your payment provider's instructions or use another payment method offered in the form.

Payment appears successful, but the page is still processing

Check Your orders before submitting another payment. Order confirmation can take a little time to appear. If you still cannot find the order, contact us with the email used at checkout, approximate purchase time, amount, and any error message.

Checkout is disabled

Return to your cart and look for unavailable items. Edit or remove each highlighted item, then try checkout again.
