This article shows you how to change the move-in date on a subscription that has not started yet, and what to do if the subscription has already started.
Change the move-in date before the subscription starts
If the subscription has not started yet, you can change the move-in date to a future date.
Go to the customer’s Subscription in the Backoffice.
Click the pencil icon beside Start.
Select the new future start date.
Click Preview changes to review the update.
When you are happy, click Change start date to confirm.
Move-in information will now be sent to the customer on the new start date. Payments will be collected from this new date.
If the subscription has already started
If a subscription has already started, you cannot change the move-in date. To change the date, you must cancel the subscription and create a new one with the correct start date.
