Raya is an AI agent built into Atria that helps you research, create, and launch ads faster. Trained on $5B+ in ad spend, she handles the heavy lifting so your team can focus on making the calls that matter.

This guide walks you through how to use each of Raya’s features inside Atria’s UI and answers the most common questions.

How to use Raya

Here’s a feature-by-feature walkthrough of what Raya can do and exactly how to find it in Atria’s UI.

Analyze your top creatives with AI tags

Raya automatically tags your ads with AI-generated creative tags, things like hooks, personas, themes, and USPs. You can use these tags to figure out exactly which creative elements are driving performance across different metrics.

Here’s how to use it:

  1. Navigate to your main analytics board or dashboard.

  2. In the Analytics tab, look at the section that has AI creative tags in it.

  3. Toggle the key metric you’re looking at. whether it’s spend, AOV, ROAS, impressions, or CPM.

  4. Watch how the creative tags change based on what you select. This shows you which tags (and therefore which creative elements) correlate with each metric.

  5. From here you can either ask Raya in the chat (“which personas drive the best AOV?”) or pick a metric and start making deductions about which specific persona, theme, or USP is driving results.

Pro tip: Try toggling between ROAS and AOV: you’ll often find that different creative elements drive each metric. That’s the insight your next brief should be built on.

Dig into competitor creatives

Raya continuously monitors your selected competitors’ ad campaigns and surfaces their top hooks, landing pages, and target personas.

Here’s how to use it:

  1. Go to the Inspo tab. You can get to a competitor’s profile two ways: click on any of the brand profile icons on an ad card, or click Following in the left-hand nav.

  2. Select one of the brands you’re following, then click View More to open their full creative overview.

  3. Browse through their creative overview. You’ll see their media mix, top personas, top ad angles, top unique selling propositions, landing pages they’re sending traffic to, top headlines, and more.

  4. Save any ads you’re particularly inspired by to a board by clicking on the bookmark icon in the top right corner. Open the hooks tab to copy their best hooks. Analyze their personas in the Personas tab to see if you’re missing any key segments.

  5. Use what you find as input for your next round of creatives. Raya can take these competitive insights and factor them into her creative generation.

Pro tip: Pay close attention to the personas section. If a competitor is running ads targeting a persona you haven’t tested yet, that’s a quick win to explore in your next creative sprint.

Clone competitor creatives

See a competitor ad that’s crushing it (we generally sort by “Longest running” to see what’s working best)? Raya can clone it and generate new versions tailored to your brand. Here’s how:

  1. Go to the Inspo tab and search for ads by brand name, keyword, or use the filters (format, status, and more).

  2. Hover over a static image ad and click Clone Ad.

  3. Pick the brand profile you want to create ads for, then enter the product or service page URL you’re trying to create an ad about.

  4. Click Generate and Raya will automatically generate a creative brief based on the competitor ad.

  5. Add your logo and product imagery, choose a batch size and image ratio, then hit generate. Raya will create image ads for you.

  6. Click on any ad to edit the original brief or click “adjust” to make additional changes.

Quick note on imagery: Raya will try to scrape product images from your website and detect your brand colors, but we highly recommend uploading your own high-definition product photos and adjusting the brand colors yourself. Better inputs = better outputs.

Mine customer reviews for insights

Raya analyzes customer reviews from you upload to find recurring themes, pain points, and the actual language your customers use. These insights feed directly into creative generation.

Here’s how to use it:

  1. Go to the Creation tab.

  2. Click on AI Playground in the left-hand nav.

  3. Click on the AI Review Mining Tool CSV card and hit the CTA at the top.

  4. You’ll be prompted to download the template and guide. Grab those first: the template shows you exactly how to format your review data.

  5. Upload your CSV file in the proper format.

  6. Raya will generate insights from your customer review data: surfacing what customers love, what’s blocking their next purchase, and specific ad angles to test based on real customer language.

Pro tip: Export reviews from Amazon, Trustpilot, or your Shopify reviews app. The more reviews you feed Raya, the sharper her ad angle recommendations will be.

Generate new creatives

Raya automatically generates new ad creatives for you every week based on what’s winning. You can also manually generate more and edit any creative she produces.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Go to the Analytics tab and find the ad account you want to generate creatives for.

  2. At the very top of the page you’ll see a brown section that says “Your ad iteration is delivered.” This is where Raya delivers your weekly creative batch.

  3. Click the settings gear to control exactly when creatives are generated for each of your individual accounts. You can also turn auto-generation on or off with a toggle.

  4. Click on any of the variations you see to open that set. You’ll see every image in the batch.

  5. From here you can generate more variations, or click on any individual image to make edits. Hit Adjust, describe the adjustments you want to make, and then download the finished creative.

Pro tip: Leave auto-generation on and check your iteration delivery each week. Raya bases each new batch on your latest performance data, so the creatives get sharper over time without you doing anything.

Launch ads to Meta (coming soon)

Once your creatives are ready, Raya can upload them directly to Meta so you never have to mess with Ads Manager settings again.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Feed Raya your ad copy, creative imagery, and any other assets (you can upload a Google sheet or CSV).

  2. Raya will analyze everything and organize it into a table view where you can review and edit your ad copy, imagery, and creative details.

  3. Edit the Meta campaign settings in bulk. Raya lets you configure everything right from the table view instead of clicking through Ads Manager one ad at a time.

  4. Once you’ve approved everything and QA’d the settings, click Upload and Raya will push them to Meta for you.

Note: Currently you can add creatives to an existing campaign in Meta. The ability to create net-new campaigns from within Atria is on the roadmap.

Build performance reports

Raya can pull ad cards, generate visual reports with graphs, and export them as Google Docs you can download and share with your team. No more stitching together screenshots from five different tabs.

Here’s how to use it:

  1. Go to the Analytics tab and click into one of your ad accounts.

  2. Click the Ask Raya button in the bottom left corner.

  3. Start chatting. Tell Raya what you want to see and she’ll pull the data, generate graphs, and compile everything into a visual report you can download as a Google Doc.

Example prompts you can try:

  • “Show me the top 5 performing creatives from the last 30 days”

  • “Compare our ROAS this month vs. last month by creative format”

  • “What hooks are driving the highest CTR on our prospecting campaigns?”

  • “Build a report I can share with my team on this week’s performance”

Raya’s automatically generated AI tags and your ad naming conventions automatically pull into any report. Here’s how to set up naming conventions so Raya knows exactly what to look for:

  1. In the Analytics tab, click the Naming Convention gear icon in the top nav.

  2. Click Edit Naming Convention, define a separator, and add as many positions as you need.

  3. Click Confirm. Raya now knows exactly what to look for and will include your naming convention data in any report she generates.

Send reports to Slack on a schedule

You can also have Raya automate creative reports directly to Slack so your team stays in the loop without logging into Atria.

  • Click your profile icon, then go to Settings > Connections.

  • Click Connect next to Slack and choose your workspace.

  • Once connected, go to the Analytics tab. You’ll see a Slack icon in the header next to your naming convention settings.

  • Click it to set your delivery schedule: choose which reports to send, how often, and to which channels.

Grade your creatives with Radar

Raya uses a tool called Radar to analyze each of your creatives individually and grade them, so you can quickly tell which ads are working and which ones need iteration.

Here’s how to use it:

  1. Go to the Analytics tab and click into one of your ad accounts.

  2. Click on Radar in the left-hand nav.

  3. Navigate between the Winners and High Iteration Potential tabs. Winners are your top performers. High Iteration Potential are ads that have promise but need work.

  4. Customize what Raya focuses on by clicking Radar Settings at the top of the page. Change the key metric she grades on to match what matters most to your team.

  5. Hover over any column name to see why Raya gave an ad a particular grade.

  6. In the High Iteration Potential tab, click Iterate on any ad to get specific iteration recommendations from Raya.

Pro tip: Check Radar weekly. It’s the fastest way to know what to scale, what to kill, and what to iterate on, without digging through Ads Manager yourself.

Manage and find your assets

When you upload creatives to Atria, Raya automatically tags them so you can find any asset in seconds without remembering exact file names.

  • Click the Assets tab in the left-hand nav.

  • Click + to add new assets. You can upload a file or folder, or import directly from Google Drive.

  • Raya automatically tags all uploaded creatives. Search by name, visual element, voice over, or text overlay to find what you need.

You can also use asset management for lightweight approval workflows. Leave comments on any asset, share links with your team, and keep everything organized in one place.
