If you don't have a WhatsApp account, you can easily open a new one by following the simple steps below.
Instructions for Opening a New WhatsApp Account
You will need three things for this:
A smartphone (Android or iPhone).
An active mobile number (that can receive SMS or calls).
A stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data).
Follow these steps:
Step 1: Download and Install the App:
For Android phones: Go to the Google Play Store on your phone.
For iPhones: Go to the Apple App Store on your phone.
In the search bar, type WhatsApp and search.
Find the "WhatsApp Messenger" app with the green chat icon and click the Install (or Get) button to download and install the app on your phone.
Step 2: Account Setup and Number Verification:
Once installed, open the WhatsApp app from your phone's menu.
When the app opens, you will need to agree to the Terms of Service by clicking the "Agree and Continue" button.
On the next page, you will be asked to select your country and enter your phone number. The country "Bangladesh" (+880) is usually selected automatically.
Enter your full mobile number in the designated box and press "Next".
A pop-up message will appear to confirm if your number is correct. If the number is correct, press "OK".
Now, a 6-digit verification code will be sent via SMS from WhatsApp to the mobile number you provided.
Usually, smartphones automatically detect the code from the SMS and complete the verification.
If the code is not detected automatically, check your phone's message inbox and type the received code into the designated box in WhatsApp.
Tips: If you do not receive the SMS, you can wait for some time and press the "Resend SMS" option, or you can choose the "Call Me" option. If you select "Call Me," you will receive an automated phone call that will tell you the code.
Step 3: Create Your Profile:
Once your number is successfully verified, you will be asked to set up your profile.
In the "Profile name" field, write your name. This name will be visible to other WhatsApp users.
You can also add a Profile Picture by clicking on the camera icon.
Finally, click the "Next" button.
